Dick took in a deep breath. He was freaking out majorly. Wally and him had been dating on the down low for a month or so and he had to tell his family. But it was easier said than done. Wally was his first boyfriend and he didn't trust his brothers not to kill him. He sat in his room nervously as Wally cuddled him. "Don't worry babe, I'll stay with ya no matter what." Wally told him. Dick bit his lip nervously and nodded. "Okay, but let me do the talking." Dick replied. Wally nodded and they walked out.

Everyone was in the Batcave, each doing their own thing. Bruce and Alfred already knew about their little fling but the others didn't. Dick told him that today was the day and he had gotten out of there with Alfred early. He didn't want to be held responsible if Wally suddenly went missing. Dick and Wally entered, both nervous. "Erm, guys? I have something very important to tell you."  he announced, gaining their attention. "What is it Dickie-bird?" Jason asked. 

"Wally and I are a...couple and have been for a month." Damian immediately frowned along with Jason. Tim however smiled a little. "That's...great. Can we have a little talk with Wally? In private." Tim said. Dick frowned, his breathing becoming rapid. 

"I'll be fine, Dickie." Wally reassured him. He nodded and went upstairs, praying he wouldn't find his boyfriend dead.

"West, what the hell?" Damian shouted, storming up to him angrily. "You didn't ask permission to even make an advance on Grayson let alone date him for a month."

"You know the rules. Dick isn't going to be played with by you." Jason added. Tim's smile was non existent. "How dare you? Dick means more to us than anything and you didn't even ask for our blessings?" Tim asked.

"He's his own person. He doesn't need you controlling every aspect of his life." Wally retorted, growing in frustration. "He's thirteen now and he can make his own decisions." 

"You dare to talk back? Dick is our brother and we decide on what happens to him!" Jason yelled. He pushed Wally who grimaced and pushed back. "You lot don't scare me! Dick means a lot to me and I couldn't care less what you think of me!" Damian was done. He punched him in the face. "You should be scared West." He began to fight him with the others support.

"Wally!" A voice shrieked making them all stop. 

"Dick, don't worry. We're just teaching him a lesson about-"

"No, what you're doing is beating up my boyfriend like he's a criminal! I thought you'd be the ones to respect my decision. But you're just a load of children who lie to try and keep me naive. Now get away from him before I do something I regret!" Dick yelled, holding onto Wally. 

"Babe, it's fine," Wally said. 

"No it's not. This is all my fault. I'm so sorry." Dick replied, tearing up a little. 

"You're shaking," Wally stated. 

"And you're bleeding." Dick retorted, earning a smile from Wally.

They walked off leaving the brothers stunned. "We made a mistake," Tim muttered. 

"Yeah we should've never let that guy near-"

"That's not what I meant Jason! Dick was so upset. We made him upset and Wally makes him happy. Fuck how we feel, Dick loves him." Tim announced. Damian sighed, 

"For once you're right. This West does make him happy, we'd be dumb not to notice how happy Dick has been this passing month. Let's go apologize."

"Wait, you want to apologize? But-" Jason was stopped by their glares. "Fine."

Dick was putting a plaster on Wally's cheek when the brothers awkwardly shuffled in. "What do you want?" Dick spat.

"We want to apologize for our behavior, Grayson. It was wrong for us to act the way we did," Damian announced. "Hmm. You know, you need to say sorry to Wally. He's the one who got beat up," Dick replied with folded arms. 

"Sorry Wally," Tim started. 

"Apologies West." Damian added. He hit the stubborn Jason in the side, signaling for him to follow. "Sorry Wally." he muttered.

"Don't sweat about it. I'm guessing I can still date Dickie?" They nodded and Wally smiled. "I'll see you soon babe," Wally said, kissing Dick on the lips quickly. Dick blushed bright red and covered his face as soon as they pulled away. Jason growled and was about to hit Wally when the speedster ran away. "Before you say anything, he's my idiot. You do anything to him and I'll make sure you can't go on patrol for months. Got it?" Dick asked, seriously. They nodded with fear. "Great. I'm going to bed, wake me up for patrol, K?" he said, walking out.

"Does this mean we have to have the consent/ birds and the bees talk with him?" Tim asked. 

"West has been with multiple boys. I'm sure we don't need to have that talk." 

"Plus that's a Dad's department. I'm not touching that with a ten foot pole." Jason added, Damian nodding in agreement. "Guess so."
