Perrie and I apparently got into trouble and Jesy put us in time out. I hadn't been in time out since second grade. Perrie and I kept quiet in the dark closet holding hands so we knew the other was still there. All we could hear was Leigh-Anne and Jesy fighting. It wasn't pleasant. They used very colorful language and it sounded like things were getting tossed around. Perrie wasn't as scared as I was. She was used to hiding and things. I was too, just not as much. I mean, my parents were never actually around me when they fought physically. They would normally stay downstairs and I'd be locked in my room or something. My phone began ringing, scaring the shit out of me.
"Hello?" I picked up, whispering. "Why are you whispering?" It was Liam. A loud crash sounded, Perrie and I flinching. "We're in time out. Now, what?" He laughed, as did plenty of other voices. "You four have to come down to the studio ASAP!" Niall shouted. I looked at Perrie, hopefully, with a confused look. "Why?" she asked. "Fuck you too!" we heard Jesy yell, which was very seldom. "Whoa..." I gulped, rubbing my face shyly. "Pezza, calm the girls down. You're great at that," Louis cooed, and I could just tell that the lads were staring at him. They normally hate each other's guts and now this. "I'll try my best." And with that, Perrie stood up and creaked the door open. "Get your ass back in that closet before I get the spoon!" Jesy shouted, making Perrie gulp. "J-Jes, the guys said that w-we need to go to the studio." Great job, Perr. You sounded so strong. Hint: sarcasm. I looked through the small crack Perrie's head fit in before seeing Jesy clasp her hand over her mouth.
"We'll discuss this later," Jesy spoke to Leigh-Anne before rushing to the door and pulling us both out. "We're on our way," I told the boys before hanging up the phone. I was super curious as to why we had to go to the studio. Was it because of Harry and I? No, couldn't be. They were excited. But, maybe it is because of that. Could they have made a plan to get Harry to talk to me again? I shrugged the thought off, following Perrie out the door. She knew something was troubling me, I could just tell, but she kept her mouth shut. I guess she thought questions weren't the right things to say right now. I walked silently behind them, my eyes staring at the ground. "C'mon, Jadey. We're going to be late," Leigh-Anne called to me, earning a glare from Jesy. They really were upset about something. I sped up a little bit, the girls allowing me shotgun. I buckled up once I was inside and we headed off towards the studio.
"What do you think all of this is about?" Jesy asked us, mainly talking to Perrie and I. I only shrugged. Perrie stated, "Maybe they want to talk about relationships," emphasizing the word 'relationships'. I despised her sometimes. She never truly knows when to not talk about something. My hands began to shake as we drove closer and closer to the studio. What if it's about Harry and I? Or Louis and I? God, this is horrible. What if they never allow me to see them again? I was cut out of my thoughts when my phone rang. It was my mum. I wanted to answer, but I'm pretty sure that if I did, she would know something was wrong. And I didn't want to worry her. I let it ring, silencing it by locking my phone. Jes watched me from the corner of her eye and hesitantly placed her hand over mine. It felt nice to be comforted most times, but today was different. This could be a good thing or a bad thing and I have a feeling it isn't the first one...

Jesy parked in front of the studio, her hands as shaky as mine. Leigh-Anne was excited to go in and see the recording studios, but I was nervous as hell. I could have thrown up easily just by stepping out of the vehicle. I blank away tears, trying to push away the bad thoughts, but they were overpowering me. It was making me slightly angry. I unbuckled my seatbelt when Perrie patted my shoulder and the two of us got out. "Ready, girls?" Perrie asked. We all nodded, taking each other's hands and walking towards the gigantic building. It was gorgeous from the outside, easily swoonable. But, the inside was exquisite. I wanted to touch everything and maybe take a few things home with me. There were even mint bowls everywhere. I smiled, the bad thoughts washing away by the beauty of the building.
And them I spotted Harry jogging towards us. I dropped Jesy's and Perrie's hands, looking down at the floor. But a strong, but gentle compact caused me to look up. I was lifted off the ground in Harry's embrace, warm tears staining my shirt and neck. "Harry, I--" He shushed me, sniffling and holding me tightly. I just wrapped my arms around his waist since they were slightly pinned to my body. "I am so sorry, Jade. I never should have blown up on you. I'm an idiot, goddamnit. I should have listened to you and Lou--" I stopped him by placing a gentle kiss to his lips, my hands cupping his face. I felt his lips twitch up in a smile at my action, his hands resting on my waist. "I love you, Harry," I told him, tears twinkling in his eyes. "I love you, too."
"Perrie! Leigh-Anne! Jesy! Jade!" we heard a familiar British voice call. It was Simon Cowell. We all smile shyly, Leigh-Anne's jaw dropped. "My god, it's really you," she breathed out, biting down on her lip. I held onto Harry as he smiled down at me. "My office, if you don't mind," he told us before turning and walking off. We saw the lads outside the glass door. They looked happy and excited. That made me even more nervous. "Good luck, beautiful," Harry whispered in my ear before pulling away and placing a small kiss to my head. He joined the others as we were escorted into Mr. Cowell's office.
I took a seat near the door since the girls wanted to be close to a famous critic of music. I watched as he pulled up instagram on the computer seated in front of us. I noticed out video on my account, my cheeks flushing. "What do you hear?" he asked us as he played it, our voices mixing together and escaping through the speakers. "Um, us?" Perrie answered, cocking an eyebrow. He chuckled, leaning back in his small, rolly chair. "Really? Because I hear talent." Our jaws dropped, Perrie's face flushing just like mine. "Perrie, you have such a strong voice and unique tune to it. I would love to work with you in the future," he told the blonde Geordie, Perrie nodding in response. "Same to you, sir."
"Leigh-Anne, your voice is magnificent and so smooth. I would love to work with you, as well." Leigh thanked him and nodded in responde just like Perrie. He glanced over at Jesy, a smile crawling over his features. "Jessica, you have such a beautiful voice and such a strong personality. I just love how you have soul," he paused, "I would absolutly love to work with you." Jesy let out a breath, smiling widely. "Thank you so much, Mr. Cowell," she told him, fixing her hair over her shoulder. And, lastly, he looked at me. I planned for him to say I was not so good, honestly. "Jade, you're voice is so soft and genuine. It's like an innocent factor... I would love to work with you," he told me with a small smile. I nodded, my smile growing. "Thank you," I breathed out nervously.
"So, girls... What do you say to joining a girl group?"
