(Julian's POV)
I wake up before both Savannah and Elliot. I can't believe she chose him. HIM! Not me! That's ridiculous, it's stupid. She'll regret it and I'd like to say I wouldn't take her, but I will. I'm still love with her.I don't know where or when rather, we are. I can't find the paper, Savannah must have it. Elliot wakes up, but Savannah still sleeps. He stands up and walks towards me, "No hard feelings?" I roll my eyes, "No hard feelings? Dude! You stole my girl!" He takes a deep breath, "I'm sorry, but that's who she chose. But, I was hoping you wouldn't hate me forever. We need to stick together, there's no way we are getting through this without being civil." Ugh. He's right. "Okay, fine. Just don't switch around when I win Savannah back." I say. He laughs, "Good luck with that. But, don't worry, it applies to both of us." It better. "At least we can agree on one thing, Savannah is hot." I say. Elliot looks at her, "Yeah, way hot." We both stare at her. "If you guys make it that far, she'll make a great Aunt role model for your niece," I say. He smiles, "She really would. She'll make a great mother one day too." I nod, "I thought that when she defended Belle. She'd make a good teacher too. I've learned a lot from her. Whether she was trying to teach it to me or not." Elliot nods, "In all actuality, I thought she'd choose you. Your closer to her age, she always seemed to like you more, and I thought she liked your personality better." I shrug, "I knew she'd pick you. She liked me as a friend, that's all. I suppose that's why I tried to convince her. It was hopeless, but man you really sucked at convincing her that last time." He laughs, "I know." I smirk, "You were like, 'Oh, I like you so much, but you must choose. I cannot do it for you!'" He smacks my arm, "Hey! But, no your right. I think I went overboard on the heartfelt piano guy who can't actually play piano." I laugh, heartfelt piano guy who can't play the piano. Sounds about right.
Savannah wakes up a few minutes later. "I'm starving...and super tired." she says. All three of us are in agreement. I'm STARVING. We exit the woods and find our selves in a large town. "Where are we anyway?" I ask. Savannah shrugs, "Where's the paper?" Elliot checks his pockets, "I don't have it." Savannah says. We look around, no sign of the paper. I look up to find a large basket falling to the earth. "Is that for us or..." Savannah says. I shake my head. It's really weird. Elliot catches it and we open the basket. There's a gun, three protein bars, a razor and a piece of paper. Savannah grabs the paper. "Good morning team. You are in 1932. Something was supposed to be changed today, but it never happened due to the things you changed years earlier. We can't change the years you jump to, so when the event was supposed to happen you'll jump to the next year. You just get to relax this time and enjoy the extra goodies we brought you. They'll jump with you." she reads. I smile, "Fine by me." We go through the contents of the box. Savannah hands me the extra gun, "You finally get one." I hand Savannah and Elliot a protein bar each. We all decide to save ours until we know we can't find anywhere to eat. Savannah grabs the razor, "We all need this." I touch my face and I definitely have the beginnings of beard. Elliot's is much longer than mine, I remember his faint facial hair from the first day. Savannah lifts up the checkered blanket. Underneath is stacks of money, a flask, a hairbrush, three toothbrushes, a tube of toothpaste, three fake passports and drivers licenses and small books with sticky notes attached. I grab the one that says, "Julian." Savannah and Elliot grab theirs. Savannah opens hers and looks at us, "It's pictures." I open mine and look at the pictures. Savannah is half-smiling and half-crying. Savannah stands up and closes her book, "I say we eat, find a hotel room, and then use our new stuff."
I close my book and stand up. We put our items into the basket and head further into the city.We walk into a building. We sit down at a table. A man walks to our table, "What would
you like to eat?" I glance at Elliot and Savannah. "What are our options?" Savannah says, asking what we were all thinking. The man smiles, "Anything." That didn't help. "Can I have pasta?" I ask. He nods and looks over to Savannah. "I'll have pizza?" she says, questionably. He nods and looks to Elliot. He says, "Um, a sandwich?" The man nods and walks back. We glance at one another. "That was weird." Savannah says. I nod.
Our food comes and is...different. Savannah's pizza is hardly cheesy. Elliot's sand which was bread and tomatoes, odd. My pasta was pretty good, actually. Both Elliot and I stole a piece of Savannah's pizza. She ate like four bites of his sandwich and tried my pasta, so it was all good. We pay with the cash we were given. I follow Savannah out of the restaurant. There's a tall building that says "hotel." We walk into the lobby area, Savannah approaches the counter. "We need two rooms," Savannah says. The desk woman nods hands her two keys. Savannah passes her a bit of cash and we begin to walk up the steps. "Why'd you get two rooms?" I ask. "There's one bed per room. Unless you really want to sleep on the floor, we need two rooms," she says. Oh. "So, who's sharing with who?" I ask. "I don't really care either me and Elliot or you and Elliot. I'm not sharing with you. Sorry Elliot." She says. "I'll share with you Savannah," Elliot says. "Great." Savannah says, slightly irritated.
She throws me and key and unlocks her own door. I sit down on the bed. I can't wait to take a nap.
I hope you like this chapter!
It sucked, but I need to have next part from Savannah's POV!
