Author's Note: So the scattered poll indicated how you guys wanted a sequel to this. Trying to continue the series, I went with the most amazing title ever (hint*I'm joking*hint). Anyways, the updates aren't set in stone-- not until I finish two other stories. Though it would certainly help if you leave a comment that you are enjoying it or if you like it, so that I know my efforts aren't in vain. PEACE OUT AND ENJOY!

______________

Your heels clicked against the marble floors, each step laced with confidence. You used to timidly travel through the Uchiha Headquarters with your head lowered and mouth sealed shut. When you went public with your relationship with Sasuke, the backlash you received made you want to be as invisible as God himself. The public's reception was brutal due to the simple fact that you were Sasuke's sister-in-law. They expected this catastrophe to be the end of the Uchiha's reign as it gave leeway for enemies to slander the family.

But they were dead wrong.

The incident only proved how undeniably strong the family was. They made your relationship an asset, parading it around as if they believed in true love. Their tyrannical image dissipated, veiling themselves as 'down to earth people'. It made their public approval spike, and they welcomed you with open arms as you proved to be advantageous to the family.

Fortunately, you weren't horribly affected by the ordeal, seeing as how you had gone through far worse to become Sasuke's girlfriend. Staying in the relationship proved to be even more difficult, but you both decided early on that quitting wasn't an option. You were going to face all the burdens and annoying trifles, but the relieving fact of it all was that you were going to have Sasuke beside you the entire time.

After four tiring years, you had grown accustomed to almost everything. Walking into the Uchiha Headquarters was nothing, though you made sure you still kept your humbleness. Anyone could spot you in the midst of Uchihas since you weren't prideful like the rest of them. The only reason why you got along with the majority of his family was because of your lackluster, nonexistent ego. It really polished their egos...

"Miss [Last Name], did he forget the date again?"

You didn't stop walking, only slightly turning your head to meet the security guard's gaze. He was usually stationed at this post, so you had come to recognized him over the years. "Nope, something more pressing."

He laughed and shook his head with disbelief, allowing you entrance into the executive level elevators. They were exclusive to high ranking employees, important business partners, or the loved ones of the executives (which meant you-- cue the giggles). You rode up the elevator without any hassle until you reached the floor where Sasuke's office was located in.

"[Name], how are you today?" the receptionist kindly asked as she bowed slightly.

You didn't offer her your usual smile. No, your amicable attitude was gone for the same reason why you were looking for Sasuke. "Fine. Is Sasuke busy?"

She noticed your impatience and a small smile formed. "You're in luck. He just got out of a meeting, and he should be free for half an hour."

"Do you mind letting me through?"

"Of course... Did he forget again?"

You smirked at the repeated question. Sasuke had been nothing but ambitious, and it transpired into many missed dates. It wasn't just him, since you were partly to blame for the many unsuccessful dates. You were trying to build your own empire as an event coordinator, which led to a lot of traveling and spending the majority of your free time with your clients. The two ambitions clashed quite a lot that it was difficult to enjoy a date nowadays.
