The first thing I saw when I woke up was the blanket "roof" above me. I laughed softly, remembering how much fun last night was.

I looked over to my side and saw that Dove was just getting up, rubbing her eyes.

"Morning!" I said, smiling a bit.

"Morning, Sof!" Dove replied, hugging me.

"How'd you sleep?" I asked, sitting up against a pillow.

"I slept great. This fort is surprisingly comfy!" Dove joked.

"Yeah, it is. We're pretty good at this!"
I said.

"Yup!" Dove said, laughing.

I crawled out of the fort with Dove coming behind me.

"Want pancakes? I can make some." I said, walking over to the kitchen.

"Sure, thanks Sof!" Dove said happily, sitting down on the couch.

She turned on the TV and giggled.

"Hey, Sofia, look what's on!"

I looked over and laughed a bit.

"Descendants?! Oh my god, we were so young."

I turned back to my pancakes and flipped them over.

"Yep. I can't believe we started filming it, what, about three years ago?!" Dove said in disbelief.

"I know, it's crazy, right?!" I exclaimed, looking at the TV. I saw me early on in the movie, munching on blue rock candy.

"I remember shooting that scene, like, 40 times. I can never eat rock candy again!" I joked, putting the pancakes on a plate.

"Hah! I know how you feel. I had to eat strawberries 35 times doing the Enchanted Lake scene over and over. I couldn't eat them for a month after!" Dove replied, giggling.

"Wow. I guess all of us get tired of things sometimes!" I said, setting the pancakes down.

Dove nodded before walking over to the table.

"Yup. Also, thanks for the pancakes! They look delicious." Dove said, cutting her pancake in pieces.

"No problem!" I replied, doing the same. I got the syrup and drizzled it over my pancake, taking a couple bites.

"Yum. These are good!" I exclaimed, finishing up my pancake.

"Yep, they were delicious!" Dove said, putting her plate in the dishwasher.

We both walked over to the couch to keep watching the movie. It was at the scene where Dove was giving the love spell cookie to Mitchell (Ben).

Dove laughed.

"I remember Mitchell not wanting to eat another chocolate chip cookie again after, like, the 15th take." she joked, smiling.

"How could he not ever want to eat another chocolate chip cookie again? They're delicious." I said.

"That's exactly what I told him!" Dove exclaimed.

We laughed for a while before I pulled Dove into a hug.

"You feeling better?" I asked.

"Totally." she replied.

"That's awesome. Wanna finish the movie and watch our young selves?" I joked.

Dove laughed. Ugh, her laugh was too cute.

"Yeah, why not?" she replied.

We both turned back to the TV. The scene was the If Only scene.

"I never realized how good of a singer you are, Dovey." I said in amazement.

"Thanks, I'm not that good though." she said.

"Yes you are! You're awesome." I reassured Dove.

"You're so sweet, Sof." she said happily.

"Aww, that's nice of you." I replied.

"Well, it's true!" Dove said, giggling.

I couldn't take it anymore. I knew it was time to confess my feelings for Dove. I had kept them in for so long and needed to tell her.

"Dove, I need to tell you something. Serious." I said, taking a deep breath.

"Okay. What is it?" she said, turning the TV volume down.

I took another deep breath and held Dove's hand.

(Lol when I wrote "Dove's" it autocorrected into Rove's, and I was like, "Hey, phone, this is a Dofia story! Not Rove!" 😂😂)

"Dove, I love you. I have for a long time. Ever since we got to be really good friends, I realized I wanted to be with you. I knew I never could be, since you were already dating. I've always wished we could be together, but I was too scared to tell you about my feelings for you. And now that you broke up with Thomas, I thought it was the right time to tell you." I told Dove nervously.

She looked at me with a slight smile.

"Sofia...I...."
