Me and Dove were talking and enjoying our night together. I couldn't ask for a more relaxing and nice time, and I just felt my stress melt away.

"Sof, let's go in the ocean, and have fun!"

I looked at her skeptically.

"Are you crazy? It's probably freezing."

"Come on!"

Before I could answer, Dove grabbed my hand and pulled me to the water.

"It feels nice."

I put my feet in the water and let the waves go up against my toes.

"It does!" I said.

I watched as the sun set and the waves tumbled over each other in a slow crashing motion.

"Kinda wish I could stay here forever." I joked to Dove.

"Um, that would be amazing." she answered back.

Dove pulled me further into the water to where it went up to our waists.

"Dove, you're getting my clothes wet!" I complained.

"Come on Sof, live a little."

I sighed and nodded.

"Alright, I mean this is basically the perfect night."

Dove smiled.

"I would definitely have to agree with you."

Dove pulled me in for a hug and I hugged her immediately back.

"You're so sweet."

"Aww, I love you."

No answer.

"Dove?"

I then realized I was holding onto air.

I saw something getting carried away by the blue, roaring waves but I didn't realize what it was.

"Dove!!"

I swam after her, struggling against the water. She tried coming towards me, but...
