I woke up to the sound of waves, and the beating of Cameron's heart.
I got up realizing there was over a dozen seagulls crowding around us.
"cameron, wake up." I tried waking him up.
I realized saying his name wasn't gonna wake him up, so I pecked him on the lips.
He shot up.
"Well good morning to you too, Cass." He laughed.
I giggled.
"We should probably head home." I told him.
"Right." He said a lil upset.
We gathered our stuff and walked to the car.
We got in and started to drive.
We finally arrived to my house, and cameron walked me to the front porch.
"Cameron I have a question." I asked him.
"Go ahead." He replied.
"Last night did you really ask me to be your girlfriend? Or was I having a really amazing dream?" I questioned.
"No, Casslynn I really asked you." He said kissing me slowly, but passionately.
"Oh, thank god." I smiled.
He laughed and then pulled me into a hug, and said his goodbyes.
I walked in and immediately was hit with a bunch of questions from my mom.
"Where were you? Why are you home late? Are you and cameron a thing? I saw y'all kiss, what does that mean?" My mom questioned all at once.
"Sorry I didn't call or text you last night, we fell asleep on the beach, and yes we're a thing now, he asked me out last night." I grinned.
My mom smiled really big and jumped around the house.
She seemed more excited than I did.
"I always liked cameron, should we invite him over for dinner?" She asked.
"I mean if you want to you can." I said.
"alright, I'll invite him and his mom and little sister, is that fine?" She asked
"Yup." I answered.
"Do you want me to text him?" I added.
"Yes, tell him around 6." She smiled.
"Alright. Will do." I said while going upstairs.
Me: Hey, so my moms like really excited about us being a thing, and she wants you and your mom and sister to come over for dinner tonight at 6.
Cameron👫: Yay.❤️ I'm glad she approves and alright I will tell them.
Me: sameee. & okay see you at 6.

I'm nervous, why am I nervous it's just Casslynn's parents, they've seen me in my underwear, nothing to be nervous about right?
"Hey, mom. Last night me and Cass made it official, so now her moms invited us over to her house at 6 for dinner." I told my mom.
"You and Cass are a thing now? Oml yay, your sister is going to be so happy. Hey, Lauren come here!" She screamed.
"Yeah mom?" She asked.
"Guess what." She said grinning.
"Well, considering I'm not really good at guessing, tell me." Lauren laughed.
"Cameron has a girlfriend." My mom smiled even bigger than before.
"Taylor? Again. Please say no." Lauren went from happy to sad.
"No, Casslynn!" My mom jumped up and down.
"Wait, your bestfriend Casslynn, the one that always braids my hair and plays with me, Casslynn." Lauren questioned.
"Yes that Casslynn." I laughed.
",YESSSS. I have got to go tell the news to tinker and Bella." Lauren said and ran away.
Tinker and Bella are Lauren's stuff animals, she's only 11. So I guess it's normal she talks to her toys.
It was only 5, so I decided to jump in the shower and get ready.
When I got out of the shower it was 5:20.
I picked out Casslynns favorite shirt, and put on Khaki shorts and vans and a SnapBack.
I brushed my hair and teeth, and sprayed on cologne and applied deodorant.
It's was now 5:30 so I went downstairs and turned on Disney channel.
Don't judge I love that channel.

It was 5:30 and I haven't even got ready yet.
I jumped in the shower for a quick rinse.
By the time I got our it was 5:40
I ran to my closet put on shorts and a "have fun, be free" crop top.
I blowed dried my hair, and touched up the natural curls.
I put on a little foundation, and some mascara and eyeshadow.
Perfect, I thought.
It was now 6.
I heard a knock on the door and swallowed hard.
Boy was I nervous.
