richie tozier.

[a/n: TRIGGER WARNING!]

richie tozier doesn't stop talking, he doesn't stop making jokes, or being himself; that's what all the losers admired about their obnoxious friend. he always remained being sarcastic and joyful in discouraging situations.

never once the thought of richie tozier suffering would ever come to mind of the losers, nobody could see him suffering.

and here they are, hearing richie quietly sobbing in his bedroom.

the six losers ran up to richie's room, after being told from tozier's mom that he was currently playing video games.

beverly was about to knock, until they heard the sudden noise of sobbing. it turned loud, then quiet, then loud. they thought it was an animal of some sort, but everybody knew that richie would never be able to take care of a living thing.

they heard quiet whimpering, the sound of a drawer being opened, and man, the losers hasn't seen beverly so serious.

"richie-"

richie's arms were soaked with fresh cuts, and all that raced through eddie's mind was germs. but most importantly, how long was this going on? they didn't really pay attention to the boy wearing sweaters constantly, they didn't.

and these were the consequences.

"ri-richie! stop!"
eddie yelled, racing towards his best friend; grabbed the bloody blade and chucked it across the room. the rest of the group were now fully inside richie's room, seeing the tension between the two friends.

richie and eddie had stared at each other for quite some time, until eddie was finally the one who broke the silence; eddie began to sob loudly, wrapping his arms around richie's tall form.

"w-why.. would you do this to yourself..? i- we- we all love you trashmouth.. i-i love you.."
eddie hiccuped after each word, earning concerning stares between the losers. it didn't help that they never knew richie self-harmed.

suddenly, richie tozier was enveloped into a big group hug.
