"Sir, Mr. Montecillo is on the line." Ani maureen her secretary. Similip it buhat sa pinto ng office niya.

Kakatapos niya Lang kausapin si Trish his long time live in partner.
"Thanks, I'll take it."

"Pare, what's up. What made you call?"

"Well actually, I'm inviting you for dinner sa bahay tonight. My kids always asking me about you, their favorite uncle."

He chuckled. Isinaldal niya ang sarili sa swivel chair, and a soft smile form on his lips, he's very fond of his best friend kids. Those two rascals were adorable. And being their favorite uncle, he spoiled them. May panaghili siyang naramdaman, bigla tuloy gusto na rin niyang magkaanak. He's not getting any younger, he need an heir to continue his empire.

"Well I'm glad that those two​ we're missing me." Isang malakas na halakkhak ang narinig niya buhat sa kabilang linya.

"Masisisi mo ba iyong mga anak ko you spoiled them, tinalo mo pa ako."

"Yeah, guilty as charge."

"So how life? Mukhang sobrang busy ka this past few weeks, I never heard anything from you."

"Trisha and I went to Paris."

"Wow, so the rumors​ we're true, that the elusive billionaire is finally getting married."

"You know me I'm not the marrying type, pero suguro doon din ang tuloy ng relationship namin ni Trish. I don't know we're the engagement thing came from, I didn't try correct nor deny it, and honestly I don't give a f*cling shit about it... The media can go to hell for all I care."

"Masisi mo ba sila, your one of their favorite celebrity pare ." He shook his head, he is seriously making fun at him. "Well it's Lucas fault, nang mawala siya sa limelight, sa akin ibinaling Ng mga press any interest nila." He muttered.

"So any plan settling down?"

"I don't know pare, honestly I don't think love wasn't meant for everybody. Lalo na sa akin. And I envy you for that pare, you have everything I could ever hope for."

"Your not happy with Trish aren't you?"

"If I said yes I'll be lying. Maybe in time I will learned to love her. She will be a good corporate wife. I mean we're both passionate in what we do. We're both business minded person. We've been living together for almost 2 years now. She knew the scores and what to expect from me."

"I don't know what to say, pare, well if that's what you want. I should be happy for you right?"

Mahabang katahimikan ang namayani sa magkaigan. "Have you heard anything from her... from your wife?"

"You mean Ellysse?"

It took a while before he answered. Just hearing her name brought back so many memories, and at same time his heart ached for her, no women can penetrate his heart the way Ellysee does, even Trish. Her name will be forever etched in his heart and mind. "Yes."

"I'm sorry pare. Wala eh, minsan tinanong ko na iyan sa asawa ko. She gave me the same answer, she honestly don't know her whereabouts" She's been managing the boutique mula nang umalis si Ellysee. His wife studied fashion design in America, dahil na rin sa kagustuhan ni Ellysee. Which his wife oblige , and now she found where her passion is."

"You know pare, why not hire a private investigator?" He heard his friend sigh. "You should have done that a long time ago."

"You've been my friend for along time, I know your fear and insecurities. Take a risk pare, your always playing safe. Do what your heart desire before it's too late."

Before it's too late.... Uel's words keep on repeating in his goddamn mind. Mocking him, taunting him. Shit.

"Thank you for the advice pare, that is just what I needed right now. And your right. I should have done that a long time ago. And I hope I'm not too late. I'll take your advice and talked to a private investigator."

"Okay pare, hihintayin ka namin sa dinner mamaya. Don't be late." Anito pagkatapos ay nawala na ito sa linya.
Tinawagan niya sa intercom ang secretary niya. "Maureen, can you asked one of our messenger to go to the Toy Kingdom now, order 2 box of LEGO set star wars and marvel series."

"Okay sir, is there anything else?"

"That's all."

- Ellysee -

Pagkalapag ng eroplano sa NAIA ay magkahalong damdamin ang naramdaman niya. It's a nostalgic feeling. Knowing that she's breathing the same air as Anton, and he is within her reach. How ironic, His near yet so far.

"Kids, we're here." Aniya sa kambal niya. Her miracle. She named them after their father. Antonio Luis Jr. same name as his dad, but she fondly called him Aj and Luisa for her little girl. We're going to visit mommy's fried first, okay."

"Okay mom." Sabay ba sagot ng dalawa.

Pagkasakay nila ng taxi ay tinawagan niya kaagad si Kate. Mabuti na lang at hindi nagbago ang kaibigan ng cellphone number nito.

"Hello." Narinig niyang sabi ng kaibigan kabilang linya.

"Kate." She just said. She missed her, pati na din si Lizbeth. Carla is in Canada and happily married to Rick. They've​ been in touch and she knew her visit here in the Philippines. Then suddenly tears fell freely from her eyes.

"Ellysse, ikaw ba yan?" Narinig niyang gulat na sabi nito, when she recognized her voice.

"Oh my God. Oh my God." Tuluyan siyang umiyak ng marinig niyang gumaralgal ang boses ng kaibigan sa kabilang linya, she knew she's crying too.

"I'm on my way to your house right now." She said to her friend.

"You're here?" Gulat na wika nito.

"Yes. We've just arrived."

"We have allot of things to talk about. See you. I'm glad you're here." Masayang sabi nito.

"Thanks Kate."

"Mom who's that?" Aj asked her.

"That's​ mommy friend, we're going to their house now."

"Does she have children?" Muling tanong ng anak.

"Yes."

"I hope it's a boy para may kalaro ako." Anito na matatas magsalita ng tagalog. Kahit lumaki ito sa ibang bansa."

"I hope it's a girl mommy." wika naman ni Luisa na nakayakap sa kanya.

"We don't know it yet baby, Kaya behaved kayo mamaya pagdating natin sa bahay nila."

"Yes mom." She kissed Luisa's hair, habang si Aj naka sandal sa balikat niya.

"Try to get some sleep kids I'll wake you up, when were there." She whispered softly to her two angels. Ilang sandali pa ay nakatulog din ang mga ito.

Then it started to rain out side and as usual, as expected they we're trapped in the heavy traffic of Metro Manila. She looked outside, then her mind travel back in time when she first laid an eyes on him.

"Ellysse darling, how's life?" Ani Carla na bumisita sa shop niya. That time she's busy sketching a new designs for her bridal collection.

She smiled when she saw Carla. She's one of her closest friend and she's a fashion designer too. "Long time no see, Carla. Kakarating mo lang ba from Paris?"

"Yup, just arrived last night."
