Chapter 16

Emily's POV

All of us are by the fire except Jack and Renée, and most of us know why. After a good ten minutes they join us, hand in hand. I wiggle my eyesbrows at her and she smiles. I jump up sqealing and hug her.

"What was that about?" Cam asks as I sit on his lap again.

"Oh nothing!!" I smile at Renée who sits real close to Jack, and slinks her arm around his.

They are so cute together, I've always wanted them together!!! I saw it in the beginning. They already halfway acted like a couple, what was keeping them from finally making it official?!

"Are they?" Cam whispers.

"Yeah!" I smile looking at them. Jack's holding her hand and plays with it, as she lays her head in his shoulder. EEEEK SO PRESH!!

Renée's POV

We're sitting at the bonfire and everyone's making jokes and just chilling like any other "bonfire(ish)" night. Jack plays with my hand while he holds it and I rest my head on him.

This is real isn't it! I can't believe it!! I can kiss Jack all the time now!! And know it's totally ok!!

"What time is it?" Sam stretches.

"Hmm... almost three." Jack checks his phone.

"Let's head home Macky." Sam stands up pulling Mack and Jack along with him.

"I'll catch you all later!" They get up and leave.

"Movie?!" I ask the rest of us, Can, Em, Nash, and Jack. They nod and we head inside.

"How about the evil dead!!" I grin evily, haha get it. I'm so punny........

"What?! Are you crazy?! Please tell you're not serious!!" Nash crazily looks at me.

"Why not?!" I frown, begging him to watch.

"Nahh man I'm gonna head home, you gonna crash here Cam?" Nash is so serious about not watching the movie.

"Yeah I'll figure something out." he squeezes Em making her giggle.

"Ok text me tomorrow." Nash sprints upstairs as I turn the TV on. I make my way over to Jack and he has blankets upon pillows.

"Ready?!" I sigh regretting this. I cuddle close to Jack and begin the movie.

"I'm already scared!" I crawl on his lap.

"Hey, I got you babe." he smiles holding me tight, his strong muscular arms make me feel secure..

"Who has you?!" I question him biting my bottom lip. He doesn't respond he only kisses my jaw line, chill form all over my body.

The movie is playing but I try to focus on other things, Emily and Cameron are actually watching while Jack and I play with each other. Not the dirty kind of play! Like teasing I guess.. ya little nasty!!

Half way through the movie no joke all the power goes out, I almost died.

"JACK WHAT THE HELL IS GOING IN?!" I FREAK OUT.

"Ren I have no clue!" he replies with a hint of fear in his voice.

"Renée, what in the world?!" Cameron speaks up.

"Guys, I don't know what happened but this is hella creepy!!" I burry my face into Jack's chest.

"I'll call your parents. They're still over at my house I think... Hello, Joe? Hey its Jack, yeah we're fine uhm actually your power got cut or something because we were watching a movie and then all the lights went out. What? Oh I have no clue, the basement, why? I'm not sure.. ok, ok thanks sir ok bye." Jack hangs up and kisses my cheek.

"What'd he say?"Cam asks.

" He'll be over in a sec, he's calling someone important..." he answers and then he grabs my hands pulling me closer to him. "Nothing's gonna happen!" he reassures me kissing my hands, then he kisses my lips softly. In response I kiss back a little harder.

Well it's dark, like pitch black, and you can't blame us for making out. But all of a sudden all the lights flip on, scaring me to death and a scream escapes my mouth. Dad comes running downstairs with Nash behind him.

"This doof cut the power from you guys." he throws Nash at us, Nash has this innocent smile plastered on his face. I stand up from the couch and punch Nash in the stomach.

Everyone chuckles as Nash I'd bent over from the "pain" and dad walks back over to Jack's parents.

"I hate you!" I growl sitting by Jack, he takes my face into his hands and looks at me.

"Finish movie or sleep?" he whispers knowing the answer.

"Bed!" I wink, "if you guys wanna stay the night I have a place for you to sleep." I stand up, Jack wraps his arms around my waist then Cam kinda mimicks us. Cute..

Jack kisses my forehead and caries me to my room. I quickly change into my big oversized hoodie and snuggle in bed. Jack stands there with no shirt and some old shorts of his.

"Goodnight baby." he kisses me softly.

"Cuddle me till I fall asleep?" I groan, he smiles ad if I'd never ask and comes to cuddle with me.

"This is nice!!" he bites my ear.

"Oh is it?!" I giggle slowly drifting off to him singing a song to me.
