HomeComing dance is coming up ooooh I can't wait.

My dress is going to be spectasbulous.......

there's a huge problem.

No Date!

" This dance is going to be popping" Jacaranda said very happily.

" I know, I need a date" Danasia said.

"Me too....I bet you everybody gonna be coming to my face all happy and hype with there dates".

And it happened too. 

All day people kept coming up to me oh J I got a date.

Louis is taking me, Oh John is going with me.

Ok.....gosh you want to know who I'm taking no one so far!

The whole day Jacaranda was in a slump because this no date thing. Everybody was coming up to her talking about their dates, and then Danasia and Matt came up to her all happy telling her about there dates.

How is everybody getting dates so fast.

All of a sudden everybody got dates.

"Whats wrong you slumpy". Jacaranda heard as she was walking.

It was Devon walking up to Jacaranda. Jacaranda was in such a funk that her bag was dragging on the floor. Devon walked over with a smile on his face lifting up Jacaranda's bag off the floor.

" Why are you dragging your bag on the floor" Devon said.

"Because Im a sad, sad girl Von".

Von by the way is my nick name I gave him.

Who feels like saying Devon all the time.....

I don't!

"Why you so sad?"

"Im tired of everybody coming up to me about there stinking date. The polite thing to do is to ask me first if I have a date first before you come over and tell me about yours".

Devon began to laugh at Jacaranda.

"Stop laughing Im serious" cracking a little smile herself.

"Why you getting all bent out of shape over dance, if you get a date you get one, if not than its whatever"

"It's not whatever this is my last year in this school and I want to have all the best experiences"

"I mean if you consider bringing a date a good experience than I think I know what you mean".

All right Pottery.

I know you trying to cheer me up and be a good friend, but your doing a poor job.

You just came here I been here since freshman year.

Every dance except junior bash I didn't have a date.

Pretending that Im okay with.....

Im not!

"I do consider that being a good, experience you dont understand I've been here four years this is my ladt year I don't expect you to understand" Jacaranda said walking away.

Devon grabed her arm gently and turned her around this way with a big smile on his face.

" You right I don't understand but instead of you waiting on somebody to ask you why don't you ask somebody"

"Everybodies taken......well do you want to go?"

"Ooo Cheyanne just asked me to go and I said yes"
