The Hidden Ruler(adventure time fanfic)

Chapter Two: The Sweet People

When I phased through the wall I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Not only were the walls made of candy, so where the people. This entire place just gives me nightmares. This sweet and sugary kingdom makes my heart stop. I cast a simple invisibility spell on myself just to avoid being detected. As I walk through the town it seems like nothing here is lethal.

"Finn! Jake! I need your help in the lab." ,someone says in a femine voice.

I look of to the direction I heard the voice and I see a pink girl. She seems to be made of gum. She has pink hair that goes to her feet and she is wearing a lab coat and jeans. She starts to tie her hair into a pony tail and I see a small human boy and a yellowish goldish dog follow him.

"What do you want us to help with PB?" ,the human says probaly this Finn character.

I guess the dogs name is Jake. I follow them and they lead me into the castle. I guess they are heading to the lab ,so if there is any good information I should be able to find it there or possibly see what they are doing in thier lab.

"Finn did you bring the compounds from that goblin I sent you after?" ,she says.

"Heck yeah we did!" ,Finn replies.

"He was all like no dont take my junk!" ,Jake says in a high pitched voice.

I guess he was trying to imitate the goblin while he was begging them not to take his "junk". I start to browse the lab and I can't seem to find anything useful in here. As I finally find something I knock something over. ΞCRASHΞ as it hits the ground. All eyes are faced on me and not being able to focus the spell wears off.

"INTRUDER!" ,Princess Bubblegum yells.

"We'll handle him PB!" ,Finn and Jake yell as they charge torward me.

Not having anytime to react I use my powers and use thier shadows against them and encase them in a sphere.

"Let me out!" ,Finn yells, "Jake what type of magic is this!?!"

"I don't know but it's really powerful!" ,Jake yells back.

Jake's sphere seems to be expanding but as it does I use my powers to tighten the area no matter how much it expands somehow.

"Put them down!" ,PB yells at me as she throws a book at me.

"Only if I can leave unharmed!" ,I hiss in reply.

"Fine." ,she says.

I release Finn and Jake from thier shadowy cages and before I know it I'm knocked out.......

ΞHours LaterΞ

"Who are you and why have you come to the Candy Kingdom!" ,PB seems to yell at me.

I try to grab her but I realize I am behind bars and am chained to the wall.

"I am Drake Xian! Ruler of the Shadow Realm! And I demand to be released!" ,I order struggling.

"I am going to ask questions and you are going to answer. Only then will you be released." ,she says in a convincing tone

"Alright, I'll talk" ,I say seeing there to be no other option.

"Who are you and what are you. Judging by your high mastery in magic you are not human." ,she says with pen and paper in her lap.

"I am Drake Xian, and I am a shadow demon." ,I say coolly.

"A shadow demon? I have never heard of them, what are they?" ,she says interested in my story.

"Shadow demons are a high ranking class of demon. We are necromancers that study the dark arts. Guessing by the preformance you saw earlier I'll asume you should be smart enough to realize our main studies are focused on shadows."

"Earlier you said you are "The Ruler of the Shadow Realm" what is that and how are you it's ruler?"

"Well it all started when I was banished from the underworld by my father, he said I wasnt allowed to capture mortal souls and take them to the underworld so he banished me and told me to never return. He gave me half of his kingdom however, which was to be ruled by me in any means I wanted. My kingdom felt a little lonely so I created the shadow demons. Although in my kingdom not only do shadow demons live there but all creatures of the dark do too."

"Who is your father?"

"Satan himself."

"Last question, are you evil?"

"Define evil."

"Kill people, deface children, ruin property. Those sorts of things."

"Yes and no."

"What do you mean?"

I summon a shadow portal below my feet and break the chain. I then appear behind the princess.

"For the record I could have done that at any point and to answer your question. You can say I'm evil or you can say I'm misunderstood."
