Koeun did her best to hide from Mark.

Mark did his best to avoid Arin.

There's something he needs to fix before things get any worse. Before his mind went crazy.

Mark lied, again, to his girlfriend saying that he couldn't walked her home as usual that day.

Oh how he should be grateful he has a very understanding girlfriend.

It's a good thing Arin didn't asked him further more, or secretly following Mark. Wouldn't it be funny if she caught Mark was busy following Koeun?

Well he has a reason though.

It's a been five days since their kiss happened, but he still didn't had a chance to apologize to Koeun. The girl kept her distance and this frustrates him so damn much. What keep bothering him, the girl was never willingly got out of his mind.

Whenever he had a chance to be in same room with Koeun, when they were alone, when the girl was near him, Koeun escaped from his sight even before he said a word.

"So, you likes to came here too?"

A soft low voice startling Koeun who was deeply immersed into reading a book she wants to buy.

A soft voice like a whisper can be heard only by her. She turned to her left side, found out that Mark also reading a book in his hand seriously, as if he really there for the book.

Koeun's brown eyes widened in disbelief, seeing the boy who she avoided for a few days suddenly stood right beside her.

"What are you doing here?" Koeun said to Mark also in a whisper, she looked around the bookstore to check if he was there alone or with someone else.

Rather than answering Koeun's question to him, Mark just simply smiles to her. "I did not know you liked reading such a book."

Mark pointing the book in Koeun's hands. "I heard the author will launch his new books this month."

With that, Koeun closed the book she was reading and taking one step back to get away from Mark, but a hand gripped her arm so she can't go anywhere, making her jerked backwards.

"Mark?"

Both of them turned their heads in unison to the voice.

"Hi Doyeon..."

"Hi!" Another girl beamed at Mark as the boy greeted her. It was a rare moment when she could meet Mark outside the school without his girlfriend. He's always with Arin, or his basketball team every time they met outside.

Her eyes that set on Mark before now travelled down to his hand who still holding Koeun's left arm firmly. She looked up back and forth to Mark and Koeun, her eyes showed her confusion.

Upon seeing the confusion in Doyeon's face Mark once again sends a charming smile to Doyeon and began to explain their situation. "Koeun's almost fell when she tried to get the book above. I just helped to keep her balance."

Mark finally releases his hold on Koeun's hand making her look away, embarrassed. She touched her left hand, feeling Mark's body heat which was transferred to her hands.

While Mark's gaze shifted to the books on the top shelf to emphasize his words, Doyeon followed suit.

"You know that you are short, right?" Doyeon said in a stage-whispered in Koeun's ear, earning a glare from her.
