Dangerously Beautiful

Mark always like the innocent-type girl, a cute one just like his girlfriend, Arin. He likes everything about her, the way she's smiles and how attentive she is.

They have a beautiful relationship, no one can deny it. They're like the school's favorite couple.

But...

Yeah, there is always "but" in this story.

Did i mention it to you how much Mark loves Arin?

Never in his sane mind he want to hurt her.

But, there's something about this girl, another girl who could make his heart beat even faster than when he was with Arin. He himself doesn't understand why he's like that?
He just can't explain it.

The girl name is Koeun. There's something about Koeun who can always draw Mark's attention to her. Every single move of her, her delicate smile, her strong presence,anything about her. She's shining even in the middle of the crowd.

This may sound exaggerate, but this isn't. She really is beautiful.

Koeun is the exact opposite of Arin.

No, Mark doesn't say that Arin isn't beautiful, she is. In different way of course.

While Arin is the calm one. Koeun is the type of girl who can stand on her own feet, has a big mouth to say her opinion, never afraid of other people, and too honest for her own good. This make her even more stunning at least in Mark's eyes.

In Mark's thought, Koeun is out of his league. Someone who he can't reach. And that was the reason why Mark was curious about her. Everything about Koeun. He wants to know more.

Is that wrong?

Mark wasn't the only boy who feels this way though. He knows, that almost every boy in his school, at least in his class wants to get closer to Koeun. It's such a challenge for them to even say "hi" to that girl.

Sometimes the boys will make a bet, who among them that can get her number, her address, all they can do to get closer to her.

It's ridiculous. Mark admit it, but he can't blame why his friends acted like that.

This is Koeun's fault. Definitely her fault. It's her fault that make a lot of boy have a crush on her.

If you asked Mark to describe how Koeun is, he will say;

"She's dangerously beautiful".

Mark and Koeun barely talk eventhough both are classmates.

Mark doesn't want to create unnecessary drama, since he knows exactly what will happen if he start to have a simple conversation with Koeun.

Not because of Arin. He's not afraid if Arin will get jealous, or anything. She's not that kind of girl who clings to her boyfriend 24/7 or get jealous easily if her boyfriend get a little closer to other girl since she believe on Mark.

The problem was, himself. He can't breath properly when Koeun was nearby. He doesn't want to make it obvious that maybe, yeah maybe he has secret crush on this girl.

Because that's wrong. Very much.

Last time they talked was when they were a partner to work on a school project. It was also the first time they exchanged their number.

See, he didn't do anything but he got her number.

Mark couldn't suppress a triumphant smile every time he remembers this, and makes a note to tell the other boys that he has a Koeun's number.
