I looked into his eyes and he looked deeply into mine waiting for an answer.
"I'd love to be you're girlfriend" I smiled
"Really?" He asked excitedly
"Yes"
He gave me a tight bear hug picking me up off the ground.
"I hope you liked everything, sorry of it was crappy in the beginning"
I playfully rolled my eyes"its fine, like I said..it wasn't your fault"
"Ok, what ever you say" he said kissing my forehead. "I have something else to give you" he said pulling out a box.
He passed it to me, at first I was confused, but then I opened it. It was a locket

I opened it and there was a picture of us when we were about 6 or 7 years old.
"Oh my god" I mumbled
"Do you not like it? I'll take it back if you want, I mean it doesn't really m-"
"I love it!" I said closing the box back up
"I'm glad you do" he smirked
"Before I walk around with this on...did you steal it?" I asked in a serious tone
"Of course...not!"
"Good, cuz I don't want police taking me to jail for a stupid choice you made"
"I wouldn't do that to you"
"Good"
We peacefully watched the last part of the sun go down. The dark sky had stars shimmering and twinkling in every direction.
"Well, I better take you home before your mom gets mad at me"
"Since when do you care about getting in trouble"
He shrugged pulling out a cigarette, he put it between his lips and lit it. My eyes widened. I slipped it out of his mouth.
"Hey! That was my last one"
"Smoking is bad for you"
He shrugged. "It's been 3 months since my last one, so it should be ok" he said picking it back up.
I snatched it from his hands and threw it into the ocean.
"No smoking, especially around me, you know I have asthma"
"Fine.." he said pulling out another one.
"Ethan!" I said trying to take it away from him. He took off running and so did I.
"Ethan get back here!"
"Never!" He laughed
"Get that cigarette out of your mouth right now!"
"N-" he tripped over a rock and fell flat on his face in the ocean. I couldn't help but laugh. I walked over to him.
"Are you ok?"
He gasped dramatically. "Yeah I'm good" he smirked
I gave him a hand, instead of getting up he pulled me in with him.
"Ethan, these were my favorite clothes" I wined
He tried to get something out but it was cut off by his laughter. I gave him a shove then I splashed water in his face. He splashed water in mine 10x harder making me fall backwards.
"I hate you" I mumbled
"Hate is a strong word" he said sounding like a little girl
I playfully rolled my eyes and got up, I brushed off my pants then stated to walk back towards the shore. Ethan's hands wrapped around my waist and swung me around in a circle.
"Come on let's get you home before your mom comes home" he whispered in my ear sending chills down my spine.
"I'll beat you to the car" I said taking off. When Ethan passed me I knew I wasn't going to win, so I just started walking.
Finally I reached the car where Ethan was, obviously. I got in and he drove off.

When I got home luckily my mom wasn't home. I gave Ethan a kiss and headed inside. I took a quick shower and slipped on some joggers, slides and a V-neck. I was walking to my room and I touched my neck.
The locket. MY LOCKET!
I ran downstairs and out of the house to my moms emergency car. I got in and pulled out of the driveway I game to a red light and I stopped. Then it turned green as I started to go a car crashed into me, the only thing I saw was black GMC and the person behind the wheel, then everything became black..
