"Oi! Over here! Khol! Come here boy!" Ría yells at Khol and pats her legs with her hands.
"Na! Come 'ere!" Tay practically screams at the confused dog while I sit on the park bench laughing silently.
We had just been at the SPCA in town and they said that there was no missing dogs that fit Khol's description, so we could gladly put our own collar on him and say he is mine.
Now we are playing with a ball at the park, the sky littered in clouds and a small brease picking up just enough to make the hot day bearable.
Khol has the ball in his mouth while he looks in between Tay and Ría, who are both calling his name attempts to get him to give the ball to them.
Ría has her long hair out and it's swishing around in the light brese, covering her eyes and causing her to brush it out of her mouth constantly.
Tays hair is getting longer, it's almost down past his eyes and making him swish his head to the side.
I smile as I watch the two, they are both the best things that have happend to me excluding my mother.
Khol barks and sits down, looking over his back at me and turning his head making the smile on my face grow to one of laughter.
He has the new collar we gave him, a greenish old faded color. Tags and a name tag hang off of it and a barely see able through his think black fur.
Tay starts waveing his hands over his head in attempt to get Khol's attention, yelling out his name.
Khol gets up and barks at him, is boofy tail wagging.
Suddenly Ría runs full force into Tay, knocking him over and on to the green grass. She sits up and looks down at him, her beautiful hair falling down into her eyes.
I just realised how much of a gorgeous couple they would make, they would be absolutely amazing for each other. Truly.
So of course my mind moves to thinking of ways that I can get them together and how I can set them up.
Khol barks one more time, and then trots over to me, putting his soft head into my lap.
My heart melts and I run my hand in between his ears, scratching his neck. He procids to drop the slimy saliva driping ball onto my bare legs.
A loud ruckus is heard from in front of me, and I look up to see both my friends tackling each other and rolling around on the grass.
"He wants to come to me!"
"Na! Me!" Ría puffs out.
"Why would he go to a horrible thrower like you?!"
"Probaly because you'll drop the bloody ball before you can throw it!" Ría pushes Tay back onto the ground and gets up, brushing herself off.
See? Whatdid I tell ya, perfect couple.
"Hey guys! Khol came to me idiots! Ha ha!" I say while waving and painting to Khol when they are both looking at me.
Tay starts scowling at me, and I see Ría turn a shade of white.
"Ría?!" I yell out and sprint over to her as she bends over.
She looks like she is about to spew so I grab what I can of her hair and bring it out of her face, missing some strands.
Khol starts whining and moving around ria and I, ending up under ria pushing his head up into his hand.
Tay starts panicking and calls my mum, stressing all the time that she doesn't pick up.
"It's okay Ría, it's going to be okay! Hurry up Tay!" I scream at him, and I feel a tug on the hair I'm holding.
I quickly make a gray and catch ria as she starts falling over.
"Tay! She fainted!" I stress at him, stitch down and holding ria in my arms.
Mum finally picks up and I hear Tays voice practically screaming panic at my mum, telling her what happend and to come pick us up.
...
"Ría! You need to go see a doctor's! It could be something serious! You started fucken spewing and the fainted!" I yell at Ría, waving my hands around.
"But it's never happend before! I'm sure it's just some kind of food poisoning!" She says back.
"Please! Ría! Just please go to the doctors!" Tay cuts in, his hand on Khol's head.
A stray tear roles down my cheek.
"I can't loose you, it was so scary seeing you dead like in my arms..." I sniff.
"Okay I will." She whispers back from her position on the couch, cupping the hot cup of lemon and honey drink.
A hour later and Ría's parents pull up the drive way.
We decided we wouldn't tell them of the ordeal, just saying that she spewed at home, and mum gave her some Panadol and she was good to go, but it was still safe to go to the doctors.
I have her a small wave from my seat, a small fake smile plastered on my face.
Ría was booked in to go to the doctors at nine o'clock tomorrow morning, a patient pulled out at last moment.
Right now I'm pacing, worried about what Ría's sudden symptoms were caused by. I remember how she had stayed home from school a few times with clames that it was just a bug, and that time she fainted at school. She was also looking weight and was rapidly getting lighter and lighter no matter what she ate.
It was now eleven and still no sign of Ría or her parents. I was stressing, thinking about the worst.
A continuous ding noise rung out from my phone on my bed, and I quickly anwer it.
"Um, Storm?" Ría's mum's crying voice came out of the phone. "We need to talk to you. It's about Ría. When c-can you get here?" Sobs filled my ear and I feel my heart beat faster.
"I'll be there soon." I hung up and threw my phone on the bed, running to tell my mum.
