Imagine being hired as Nicole's trainee and then being introduced to Wynonna and her making a comment about her type and you being that exception.
"I never thought I'd get another transfer so soon," Officer Haught said glancing at you. "From the looks of it, you've got more experience than I do."
"Not really," You said and Officer Haught looked surprised. "I was made detective within my first year, but most of what I'm used to is drugs. I was in homicide for a couple of weeks at the most."
"Well, you've got quite the resume," Officer Haught said and you blushed lightly. "How about when shift ends we go out for drinks?"
"Sure, you seem to be better company than the other guys I worked with," You said. Your tour of Purgatory resumed, ending with Shorty's which apparently was the place to get drunk off your ass. You sat down on a stool beside Nicole and waited for the bartender to get you a drink.
"Officer Haught, who might this young woman be?" Nicole introduced you to the man, Henry and then he got you a beer on the house.
"Your friends are friendly," You pointed out. Nicole nodded and the two of you drank a couple of beers before going to the pool table. "I'd hate to break it to you, but there's a chance I'll kick your ass at this game."
"I don't doubt it, you put pool champion on your resume," Nicole joked and you smirked as you lined up your shot, hitting two solids into a corner pocket. "Damn, guess I'm stripes."
"Yeah," You said hitting another ball in. The two of you played for about 25 minutes, then more of her friends came in and you decided to end the game right there by hitting your last ball in with the 8 ball.
"Y/n, this is Wynonna and Waverly," Nicole said and you shook their hands. "I'm going to get another drink with Waverly, are you okay with driving back?"
"Um, I'll get some water and I'll be just fine," You said, knowing you'd probably be escorting all of them home. You sat with Wynonna, who decided she wanted to play pool with the new champion.
"How'd you get so good at this?" Wynonna asked and you shrugged.
"I grew up in bars," You answered, deciding that's be your answer. "I've also got arcade games and darts in my back pocket."
"Hot cops are normally my sister's territory, but damn, I think you might be the exception for me," Wynonna said and you blushed. "You're cute too, the total package."
"I think you've have one too many," You said and Wynonna shook her head. "Okay then."
"You just haven't had enough," Wynonna argued, handing you her drink.
"I can't I'm driving you home," You said and Wynonna nodded.
"Responsible too, the total package," Wynonna said patting your ass.
