It was like floating through blood, but it was pitch black. I tried to open my eyes but it felt like they were glued shut, I felt a burning pain in my chest, it felt like someone decided to have a bonfire in my ribcage, I couldn't cough or breathe or do anything. My legs felt like someone was repeatedly scratching at them, it hurt so badly but I couldn't scream, I laid there unable to make any movement. I focused on my eyelids, trying to open them before I drowned. I pried them open and shot up, coughing as hard as possible and gasping for air all at the same time, I looked around but everything was blurred, I could hear muffled voices, I squeezed my eyes closed and rubbed my throbbing head, a high pitch siren rung in my ear. I opened my eyes and Sherlock was face to face, he looked like he was yelling at me, his hands were on the side of my face as he did this, I tried to read his lips but I couldn't focus, he walked away quickly towards what looked like maybe a door then stopped and turned, and stood there as another face came into view, a women in a lab coat, she had dirty blond hair and looked as awkward as I acted. She looked over at Sherlock, I'm guessing she was calling him over because he quickly made his way again. They look like they were having a conversation, I decided this was a great time to panic. I began trying to form words, when that didn't work I started hyperventilating, I quickly ran my fingers over my body, making sure there weren't any noticeable wounds Sherlock quickly grabbed my hands and tried talking, I caught a few words, mostly ‘calm down’ and ‘stop’ i closed my eyes
“C...cant…. s-see….o-or….h-h-hear” I managed to get out words as I pointed to my eyes and ears, I looked up and he nodded quickly, he held up his fingers near my ear and started snapping, three times on each side, after a few seconds I heard the snapping, he put his hands down and walked away, the women grabbed a flashlight and began examining my eyes, she nodded and looked back a Sherlock, who was holding something in his hands, he held them out towards me and I took them, my glasses. I looked up confused how he got them I slid them on and looked around much clearer,
“So what happened?” the women said looking between us. I still couldn't speak so I looked towards Sherlock. He didn't say anything, he just walked away and sat down on a chair, going back into his praying position and looked off into space
“D-d-does…” I swallowed the pain “Does.. he do-do this a-a lot?” I asked turning back towards her, she nodded, not taking her eyes off him
I'm Molly” she said, smiling and holding her hand out, I gladly took it and closed my eyes to focus on my words
“I-am Jaye” I smiled back and looked over at Sherlock, I hopped off whatever I was sitting on and walked over to him, I put my hand on his shoulder and he jumped, he looked at me, appalled, I just smiled and took a seat next to him, I pressed my lips together firmly,
“T-thank you..” I looked down “don't take that t-t-thank you lightly, I never say thank you” I looked up and gave him a small side smile
“You don't even know what happened, how do you know I did anything” he replied as he looked at his microscope
“Whoever said I was thanking you for that?” he froze and then looked over at me. I stood up and walked over to the place where I was lying previously, I picked up my phone and stared at the black screen, I didn't know what to do next. I felt so out of place here, I didn't know what to say or what to do, I looked up and around, Molly must have left because it was now me and Sherlock
“How did you know those people,” he asked, turning the knobs on the microscope
“uhm….Well… the woman was my...uh. Not really a mother? She gave birth to me and all but… she was never the one I called mother or even knew existed.. like... I didn't know she was alive or anything” I looked at him who was looking up and staring than looked towards me
