Sherlock sighed

“We thought someone was following us,” Sherlock said, clearing his throat,

“So.. you started a make out session?” The girl said, im pretty sure her last name was donovan

“We were hoping to throw off our stalkers,” he responded, sounding irritated. The whole time I stood there, unable to move, my first kiss and it wasn't even special, i wanted to have it at a romantic place, like paris, under the eiffel tower, at night. Or even better at, at the top of the effiel tower at night. Just thinking about all of this made be more and more angrey

“You ruined it” I hissed at Sherlock. I grabbed him roughly by his arm and began dragging him to the street,  then paused

“And no, we are not together, we aren't anything more than” I looked over at Sherlock, narrowing my eyes “temporary partners” I hailed a cab and angrily got into, Sherlock got on the other side and the driver took off

“Why are you so angry?” he sounded almost sad. “Is it because of I'm... me?” his voice was much softer than it usually was, not exactly sad, i wouldn't expect the from a sociopath, but it seemed like didn't feel good about it

“I don't think of you as an” I paused not wanting to say the word “it's because, well.” I was embarrassed, almost thirty and I had never kissed someone, “it's nothing,” I said, giving him a reassuring smile, I don't think he bought it, he didn’t say anything for a few minutes and stared out the window

“Are you angry because of the temporary partner thing?”

“No” I lied,

“But-”

“Sh. I don't want to speak anymore” he stared at me, for a few seconds and grinned, it was weird, and a bit creepy but kind of contagious, I wouldn't let in completely and gave him a small smile. The cab stopped and we got out, we were at his flat. I slowly walked up the stair, Sherlock was already up the stairs and talking, I was hoping he wasn't talking to me because I wasn't paying attention. When I did make it up to the top, a man with blond hair sat on the bed his hand on his forehead sighing, he looked up at me and glanced at Sherlock

“While you've been off lollygagging, I have recruited a new member” he did a presenting motion towards me with his hand  “Meet” he paused, we hadn't really fully introduced ourselves

“Jaye,” I said “I'm Jaye Smith” I cleared my throat and held my hand out towards the blond man, he stood up and shook it

“Dr John Watson,” he said giving me a quick smile  and sat back down

“Afghanistan” I whispered, staring at his leg, Sherlock smirked and looked at John, then walked on to  the table and over to the window where a violin sat on a stand, he stared out side, it was pouring rain as he slowly took the bow over the strings of the violin, creating soft and beautiful sounds, I sighed and collapsed into a chair, closing my eyes. Drifting off to sleep from Sherlock's playing, I was half asleep when I overheard something, Sherlock and  John's voice

“Isn't she a criminal?” John quietly said

“Is there anything wrong with that?”

“Of course not”

“I find it unsettling” a third voice, female,

“No one asked for your opinion” Sherlock hissed. I smiled,

“Look at that, she's smiling, doesn't seem the type to do that” John said chuckling

“Wonder what she dreaming about” the third voice said

“Let's wake her up” Sherlock whispered, if I could I would probably laugh, it was kind of like I was paralysed, or in a coma, I was slightly aware of what was happening but I felt like my body was a heavy boulder, I couldn't move, my eye lids went dark, and I felt a hand on my shoulder

“Jaye” He whispered roughly shaking me. I felt like i was being snapped out of the trance, the shakes become more violent before my eyes popped open, i was now faced to face with the curly haired, Sherlock. He was only about five inches from my face, he had sharp blue eyes with hints of green, his eyes were beautiful, like a mosaic. i quickly snapped myself out of whatever that was.

“Why” I whispered, squinting at him, I flew up in the chair and looked around, then lowered myself down

“What's wrong?” john asked, glancing around

“I need my glasses,” I said quietly, sighing. My whole body felt sore and broken, I curled up and closed my eyes,

“Jaye gets up we are leaving,” Sherlock said, pushing on me, I sighed rubbing my eyes, got up and stretched.

“Yeah yeah, whatever I'm up” I looked around, the only people here were John and an older woman, definitely not the one who was speaking while I was speaking, the voice was much younger.

“Hello,” I said to the woman, she was by the kitchen, she gave me a warm smile

“Hello dear, I'm Mrs Hudson, very nice to meet you” she held out her old wrinkly hand, I took it into mine,

“I'm Jaye, it's a pleasure to meet you” Sherlock rolled his eyes and came up behind me

“If we are finished with the pleasantries we have a lead to follow and we haven't got all day to sit around and play tea time!” he shouted grabbing his coat and scarf

“Let me get my jacket,” John said standing up, Sherlock stopped

“No, you have” he did air apostrophes “ a ‘Date with one of your girlfriends’ your staying here, Jaye, Let's go” he quickly went down the stairs

“Sorry John” I said softly, giving him a sympathetic look, I quickly followed behind Sherlock when a black car rolled up, Sherlock's hands were behind his back the car door open and out came a man, his hair was receding back and looked much older than Sherlock, he didn't pay any attention to be

“Sherlock we have business to discuss,” he said gesturing towards the car, I cleared my throat, not once, but twice before Sherlock pointed me out, the man looked at me, disinterested, it was getting me angry,

“I'm Jaye,”  I said, not bothering to put my hand out

“Mycroft,” he said, I paused and then busted out laughing, bending over, putting my hands on my knees, trying to gasp for breathe

“Oh! Oh that's” I couldn't get my words out “Your parents must have hated you” I said, trying my best to regain my posture, only doing so slightly, there was a small smile on Sherlock's face

“Jaye this is my brother, Mycroft Holmes”

“That… that makes so much sense” I said putting my hands on my hips, “Anyways, Mycroft me and Sherlock can't attend to whatever family reunion you were planning, we have work to do” i looked over at Sherlock who nodded slightly

She's right, we can't talk now but tonight would be a lovely little dinner date” he smiled and walked away,

“Au revoir” i said, saluting him and bouncing off with Sherlock.
