"I'm in England." I spoke through the phone.

"What the hell? Why do you never tell me when you're leaving the country?" Casey groaned.

"You know I don't like goodbyes." I answered with a shrug.

"You're maddening." she huffed, I smiled knowing she meant it in an endearing way. "So does this mean things are good with you and Li-"

"We're working it out." I interrupted her. "I love him, and he loves me, this is what we do: fight."

"So England again huh?"

"I think the whole pretending to be someone else was beginning to wear on us."

"But you still have to pretend." she observed.

"Yes, but at least England is home, I know he misses it, but he won't admit it."

"Well, be safe."

"We will. Love You."

"Oh, and if you meet any of the royals give Prince Harry my number!"

"Case, you're married, happily might I remind you." I laughed.

"Andy knows that Prince Harry is my hall pass."

"I'm hanging up now." I informed her and she laughed before giving me a genuine goodbye.

I put the phone down and sat down on the bed of the hotel. It was sunny and cold as I admired the fall colors from the window, the city not far in the distance, I sighed missing my old apartment.

I glanced over to the chair in the corner where Liam was just sitting scrolling through his phone for entertainment. I chuckled at how fast he fell asleep, head slumped to the side and hand dangling over the armrest with his phone now on the floor. I snapped a picture of him for blackmail purposes later, and because he was so darn cute, but mostly so I could rub it in his face when he argued his was only resting his eyes.

I dialed another number from heart and turned back to the window.

"Hey. It's me." I spoke softly careful to not wake Liam up. "Can we talk?"

My voice was low and secretive which only made me feel more guilty. I glanced back at Liam to make sure he was still out, he was.

"In person?"

I listened to the directions on the other end of the call and nodded. "Ok, see you." I hung up and slipped my shoes on tying up the laces before grabbing my coat and purse.

Walking in my tiptoes I crept silently passed the still sleeping Liam and quietly opened the door. "Goodbye Liam." I whispered one last time before I let the door close softly behind me.

The air was cold but refreshing as I stepped out of the hotel lobby. I pulled out my phone and sent a text before shoving my hands back into the warmth and refuge of my pockets. I marveld at how nice London looked in the beautiful fall scenery and the sudden wave of nostalgia washed over me making me mad it had taken us five years to return to England.

I turned right crossing the street as I apporached the coffee shop. With another block to go it came into view, the large brick store front with green ivy snaking up the sides of the walls, I stepped to the edge of the curb waiting for traffic to pass.

For it being a Monday morning, the city wasn't very crowded, though this was the old town and wasn't super popular these days, probably why he wanted to meet here.

A charming golden retriever bounded up to my side and collided into my leg like a newborn deer trying to walk for the first time, I smiled crouching down to greet the puppy. "Hey fella, aren't you cute!" I pet him and he leaned into my touch craving more as I looked around for his owner, but no one was around. I frowned, "Where's your owner love?" I asked the golden.

"Duke!" A man shouted approaching us with a lead in his hands. I smiled standing up as he hooked the leash onto the pups collar. "I'm so sorry about that miss!" He apologized profusely.

"Don't worry, I'm glad you caught up with him." I smiled looking at the man for the first time. He was attractive with a stocky build and dark brown hair with blue eyes, his 5 o'clock shadow framing his strong chin nicely.

"Yes well he obviously loves to hang with pretty girls and not poor shulbs like me." He smiled charmingly. I laughed at his self deprivation and humor, he was clearly flirting with me. "I'm Tom," he held out his hand for me to shake. "You've already met Duke."

"Nice to meet you Tom," I turned my attention to Duke patting him on the head happily "Duke." I greeted him. I wondered how often they had pulled this lost puppy routine to hit on women, and how many women had actually fallen for it. If I wasn't with Liam, I was certain it would have worked on me too, puppies are my weakness.

"Can I treat you to a coffee for rescuing my guy here? Tom asked politely.

"Actually, I'm meeting someone, but thank you." I passed on his offer as I glanced across the street to the coffee shop. "Nice meeting you two."

As I started to step off the curb Tom grabbed my elbow pulling me back as a car whized passed. "Easy there Emma!" Nervously laughing I turned back to thank him as another car came up beside us.

Before I even realized it his hand was over my mouth silencing me as the nearest car skidded to a halt swinging its doors open behind us. Tom forced me towards the open door as I fought against him realizing what was happening.

It was all too easy for him to overpower me as he tossed me roughly into the back of a dark SUV. I felt more hands reach out for me holding me back as he climbed in after me, my mouth still held tightly shut.

It only took a second for the suv to begin moving again as Tom finally let go of my mouth. I screamed as soon as he did until a thick piece of duct tape covered my lips silencing me once more.

Tom turned to me, his kind smile that I found comfort in moments before, was now a smug look of satisfaction that terrified me. "Emma darling, I've been anxious to get my hands on you for a long time." He smiled making my skin crawl.

I frowned as my mind worked through what he had said. "Hue arr uu?" I muttered through the tape.

"Who am I?" He repeated my question. "I'm hurt you don't remember me!" I frowned again. "How's that charming boyfriend of yours? What's his name again?" He asked the driver of the suv rhetorically who snickered in reply. "Oh yes, Liam. No- wait a minute, Liam's dead. Or at least that's what we thought."

I let the dread wash over me, fear flooding into every pore of my body, I felt paralized. "Van. He goes by Van now doesn't he?" He asked.

I wanted to scratch out his eyes as he spoke, the smug smile on his face, I felt my tears track down my cheeks. "Oh don't worry sweet cheeks," he reach towards me tucking a loose strand of my hair out of my eyes, I jerked away making him laugh. "He's not dead, at least not yet."

The suv slowed to a stop. "Harrison we're here." The driver announced using Tom's real name as my memory flashed back to the alleyway Niall saved me in all those years ago.

"Ah, now you remember me don't you?" Harrison smiled knowing I'd made the connection to that attack by him and Louis outside of Capture Studios. "Good." He pulled open the door to the suv and got out pulling me with him hastily tossing me to the ground with a thud.

My hands burned as the rocks broke my skin of my palms, which I'd held out to brace myself, leaving them raw and painful. The driver dug his knee into my back tugging my injured hands behind me and lacing them with rope.

With the tight knots around my wrists they drug me up from the ground shoving me towards the door to a sketchy looking warehouse.

I felt Harrison lean up against my back caressing my body and violating me as he pressed his lips close to my ear. His grip tight on my arms forcing me forward towards the door.

"Trey's been wanting to meet you doll face." He whispered creepily into my ear.

My heart skipped faster at the use of doll face, as Liam's face jumped into my mind, those two words now forever tainted.
