Chapter 5

Previously on Chapter 4

"Are you sure you wanna let your Sister go back? You might get lonely" he said. I nod my head "we are the only ones my mom had. She needs her more than me" I say. He stare at me "alright! I'll return her to your Mother. Tomorrow" he said. "T-thank you..." He kiss my forehead. Then he laid on his side and pulls me closer. My head leaning on his chest. "Y/N..." He says. "Y-yeah?" I questioned. "When you said anything... Does it include you'll fall for me?" He said. "Y-yeah..." I say. He held me tighter "okay" he said. Then his breathing slowed indicating he falls asleep. I close my eyes and slowly falls back asleep.

Y/N P.O.V

It was early in the morning. I need to go to the bathroom, so I try get up from the bed. Note: Try. But I was pulled back down, by none other than Jason. "Where are you going?" He asks. "B-Bathroom..." I say, shaking. 'How the hell am I suppose to love him?! I'm really scared of him' I thought. "Can't you go later? I still wanna cuddle with you" he whines. 'How can a criminal he so cute?!' I thought. "But I gotta go, Jace" I say. He opens his eyes and look at me "what did you just call me?" He asks. That's when I realise I just gave him a nickname "*nervous laugh* it slipped out of my tongue. I called you Jace... Sorry" I say. He shook his head "no... I like it. Call me Jace" he said. "O-okay..." I say and he smiles. Then I remember what I need to do "um... Jace?" I start. He respond with "hm?" "I still need to go to the bathroom. I gotta pee" I say. He sigh and let me go. I quickly got up and run to the bathroom.

Time-skip

As promised. Jason will let my Sister go. But one of his gang member will do the job. He don't want me to go out myself. He is still didn't trust me fully. Jason put a tiny camera on his gang member, so I could see how it go.

I'm standing in front of the door. My sister is clutching my shirt. She's crying her eyes out. "No!!! I don't wanna leave you. What if he hurts you?" She wailed. I hug her back "S/N... He may be a criminal. But he won't hurt me. He said he loves me" I say gently. "But still!" She continue. "Enough! I'm not gonna pretend anymore! You're going home to Mom, I don't want to have you here. You're an annoying little brats! I'm gonna stay with Jason because he is my man. I love him. I don't love you?!" I yell at her and she starts crying.

She went away with the man Jason send. She got in the car. Before the car sped off she looks at me with tears in her eyes. I watch as the car speeds off. When it was out of sight... I start to cry my eyes out. "I'm sorry, S/N.... I'm so sorry" I cried out. My hand covers my mouth to stifle my sobs, but it's no use.

Then a pair of arms were wrapped around my waist. I jerk away and run upstairs to the room. I sit on the bed and start crying more. The door opens and Jason walks in. He sits next to me and I didn't dare to move an inch. "Baby... Let's watch the tape and see if your Sister got home safely" he said gently. I just nod my head. He grabs my hand and I flinch. But I didn't pull away. He's not gonna hurt me, he's just guiding me.

He leads me to a room with computer. He sat there and gesture me to come closer. He pulls me down until I'm sitting in his laps. He wrap an arm around my waist, then he use his other hand and start working on the computer. Then a video was shown, or more like a tape. I can see my Sister walking. She's still crying. I felt so bad yelling at her. But it's for the best, she would refuse to leave if I didn't do it.

Their way is silent, the only thing heard was the constant sniffing and sob from S/N. Soon they begin to pull up on my old home. The man exit the house and pick my Sister up. He knocks on the door and wait for respond.

More tears escaped my eyes as my mom opens the door. "Mom..." I sob. Jason tighten his grip around my waist.  My mom cried as she pick S/N and hugs her tightly. "Where's your Sister, sweetie?" Mom asks. I froze. "Sis kicked me out, she said she hates me.... I'm just an annoying brat" she choke out. I can see the flash of hurt in her eyes. I look away from the screen "you can turn it off now, Jace" I say. He did as I say.

I look down on my lap as more tears starts to stream down my face. Jason places his thumb and index finger under my chin, then he tilts my head until my gaze met his. I move away from his hold and got up. I run out of his office and to my room. I sat on the floor with my back against the bed. Jason enters the room. "Leave me alone..." I say. He kneels down in front of me. "Y/N.... You promised" he said. "How do you expect me to love you, McCann?! Love can't be forced. I can't..." I cry. He looks taken aback. Then he looks angry, he raised his hand as if about to hit me. I hit my head in between my knee that I pulled against my chest. But nothing came. I gather up courage and look up. Jason places his hands on both side of my cheeks.

"Y/N... I would never hurt you. Please... Give me a chance" he pleads. I just stayed silent while my whole body is shaking. "Give me 3 months. I'll show you how much I love you. When 3 months is over... if you still don't love me back, I'll...." He sigh and look away. I wait for him to continue. Then he looks back at me and smile, he caresses my cheek "I'll let you go.... And you won't have to worry about seeing me ever again. I'll disappear from your life... Forever" He say. Leaving me stunned. I didn't answer. Honestly I don't know what to say. "Well?" He asks. "What are you gonna do within those 3 months?" I asks being nervous. He look in daze as he thinks. "Anything a couple would do" he says. My face went pale. "But I promise... I won't invade your privacy. We'll just act like a couple. Kiss... Cuddle... No funny business, I promise...." He said. I think about it. So far he's been keeping his promise. He didn't hurt me, he let my Sister go. He just wants me to love him. Maybe... I'll give him a chance. "Please?" He begs. "O-okay..." I finally answer. He smiles and pumps the air "yes!!" He cheers. He hugs me "thank you, Y/N!!" He say happily.

'I can't believe I agreed to him. But maybe he's being sincere. Maybe he did loves me that much. He just asks to be given a chance. I'll give him that...'
