JIMIN'S POV

"Good morning" I walk out of my room and see Mia setting the plates on the table.

"Morning." She replied.

I stare at her for a few moments. It's been really nice since she started living here. I don't know if it's selfish to say this but she seems like my wife.
Looking at her like this warms up my heart. It warms up my entire being and her presence had made this house a home.
I smile at her and say.
"I'll freshen up and be there."
"Ok."
I turned to the bathroom when I realised something.
Wait. Is that my hoodie?
I turn to her again.
"Mia?"
"Yea?"
"Is that my hoodie?"
"......"
She just kept on working and didn't bother to answer.
Fine then. Tactic 2
"Kitten!?"
I saw her flinch and laughed internally.
"W-what? Your shirt ran out of scent so I took this."

What is with this girl and scent. She said it helped her sleep. Might as well ask me to sleep with her. She'll never run out of scent.

I freshen up and take my seat at the breakfast table. As we were eating I kept staring at her. The hoodie was even bigger on her as compared to the shirt.
She looked cute.
Really cute. I smiled.
"Why do you keep looking at me?"
She said catching me offguard.
Shit.
"You know you keep wearing my clothes. Am I your boy friend?"
"You might as well be." Her answer was so straight forward and firm that I stared at her for a while in awe.
Did we just propose each other?
Wait.
This is my chance to ask her out.
"So why don't we---"

The phone rang. Great timing. I was going to ignore it when I saw it was from the superior.
I picked it up.

Mia stared at me as I talked on the phone.
"Ah yes!! Yes!! Yes yes! Ofcourse I'll be there. I mean why would I miss it.
Thank you."
I ended the call and placed the phone on the table then looked at her.
I was really happy and I wanted to ask her something but I was a bit scared.
She won't reject me now. Would she?
Well she has every right to reject me. I can't force on something like this.

"Mia?"
"Hmm?"
"I have something to ask of you."
"Yea?"
Shit my heart is racing.
"It involves the two of us."
She titled her head in confusion then smiled at me as if she understood.

"Push it in harder!!" Mia Yelled. She was already breathless.
I was scared I might hurt her.
"Okay. Come closer." I said.
"Aaahhh." She groaned
"Should I stop??" I cursed mentally. See She did get hurt.
"No. I know what I'm asking for." She said. "Just do it harder!!"
I gulped then put my energy into it.

"You guys need some help?" Taehyung entered the scene.
"Most definately." We both said togather,out of breath.
"This freaking door just won't budge." Mia panted.
"Taehyung. How the hell did it get stuck like this?" I asked looking at the door.
"I have nooo idea." Tae just shrugged.
Mia stared at her fingers.
"Did you get hurt while pushing the door?" Jina entered the scene.
"Yea...." Mia blew on her fingers.
"Let's just leave that for now and call people who can actually know something about doors."
"Best idea I've heard all day." I said and we all left the door still stuck in place.

"I'm really happy you agreed to do this with me."
"No problem. I want you to be promoted too."
We both were at a volunteer work which was at an orphanage. Even though I should have gotten my promotion when we completed the drug dealing operation but the superiors sure have loose screws in their heads. They handed me their volunteer service and said I'll get my promotion when I finish it.
Oh well I'm just happy Mia came along.
I was scared she might reject me straight off saying something like I hate kids since she's cold to so many things but how wrong I was.
The kids were practically jumping on her and pulling her hair but she didn't mind it.
She was smiling. Her most genuine smile was plastered on her face.
"Unnie!!"
"Noona!!"
The kids were so hyped around her ,"Let's play!!!"

"Ok. Ok!!" She stood up, giving the children piggy back rides and twirling them around in her arms. She was practically being a kid herself.
The scene was so cute I couldn't help but smile.
"It's nice to see Noona so happy like this." A little boy sitting next to me said.
"Yea." I nodded
"Noona rarely ever was this happy." He sighed.
I looked at him,"You know her from before?"
"Yea! She lived with us for so many days, she came especially on days when she was hurt."
"Hurt?.... Like how?"
The boy pouted thinking," Well ummm hurt like... hurt? "
Right... How can I expect a little boy to explain this.
"But!" He further said." She would eat alot on her first days, like she hadn't eaten in days."

I never knew of this.....
I look at her. At her innocent smile.
How she was being a kid with the kids, because she never got to be a proper kid.
It pained me to think that. It made me want to protect her.
But most of all I wanted to run to her, put my arms around her and let my embrace tell her how I want her to have all the happiness in the world.
But
I didn't
She looked at me and waved. I saw a kid in her.
I smiled and waved back.

No wonders she's getting along with the kids so well.....

Aha!! I wrote!! Even though this chapter looks like complete shit to me...
Oh jimin and I have the same ringtone😉😉
