Vigilante

A step forward

Jimin hugged her tight.
"It's okay. I'm here." He rubbed sooting circles on her to calm her.
Mja had her face burried in Jimin's chest and he felt her warm tears.
"Don't cry. I won't let anything happen to you."

'She wasn't afraid of thunder before... What happened?' He thought

"Mmmm" She didn't say anything just kept her head burried and her arms around Jimin till his sooting words finally drifted her to sleep.

Mia opened her eyes to the sound of birds chirping and the first thing she saw was Jimins face, sound asleep next to her.
The memories of last night flooded into her brain.
"Uuuuu.." She cursed mentally,
" I was so pathetic last night..." She whispered under her breath.
"No. You weren't."
"!!!!" Mia looked at Jimin who just woke up.
Jimin sat up to look straight at her.
"You were adoreable." He said in his haorse voice and then chuckled.
Mia on the other hand just averted her gaze embarresed.
"Does anyone else know about this fear of yours?"
She  shook her head still looking at the ground.
Jimin smiled ,"Well that's good. I want to be the only one to know all of you."
Her heart skipped a beat.
For a few moments there was silence between them when Mia spoke.
"Me too."
"Huh!?"
She looked at him, "I want you to be the only one whose there for me whenever I'm...." She became shy but Jimin waited for her to complete her sentence.

"I'm....scar-"
Bang!!
The sound of gunshot caught the attention of both of them.
Some men could be heard approaching the shed.
"Do you have your gun?" Jimin asked.
"No. It's in the car."
"Shit!" He grabbed Mia's hand and pulled her with him.

"Is there anyone in the shed?" One guy asked the other.
"Go and take a proper look."

Mia and Jimin hid in a worn out closet which was among many other boxes and junk.
The area was congested which lead to awkward position of the two.
Jimin lay down with one of his knee directly between Mia's legs, it almost touched an inappropriate place. He had his hands on her back as she had her hands and arms on his bare chest with one of her leg between his.
Both of them gulped awkwardly.

"I don't see anyone here... wait!"
Jimin and Mia grew tense.
"Someone's shirt is here." The guy in red shirt went to pick it up while the other one stood at the door.
"Maybe he left it here." The other guy said.
"She."
"She? The person who called me was a guy."
Jimin relaxed a bit after hearing that and whispered.
"It's just the animal control."
"Oh."
Mia relaxed too but only for a second because what the animal control guys said made her all red.

"Looks like we had a couple spending the night here."
"Not just spending, looks like they had loads of fun, no body would have been able to hear them moans in that storm."
The other guy laughed, "What do I do with this shirt."
"Just leave it and lets go."
"Yea."

After a few seconds there was complete silence and the two could hear each others heart beating like a drum.

"Hey... We should get out." Jimin said.
"Yea..." Mia moved fast.
"No!! Don't suddenly move like th-!!!!" They both ended crashing out of the closet before Jimin could warn her.
They ended on the cold soft ground with Jimin on top of Mia.
Their lips against each others.
