Thanks, nonfiction! #506.
There are things in this world which seems too hard to eliminate just because we get used to it. Similar to a current in a wavy ocean, we tend to go through the flow because of the convictions of the primitive society. But a question is still hanging and bothering many of us, do we need to abolish things that we used to just because the society advances?
For instance, take a short glimpse to what you wear. In ancient times, people did not wear such garments. Maybe its not yet stated in their so-called school policies in their era. In this case, you may ask, why did they promulgate such garment to be wear by their students?
Its because of the betterment of their schooling practices. You may argue that uniforms aren’t necessary and its not what you use for acquiring knowledge. If you think that way, you actually created a misconception out of it.
Uniforms are created to build an emphasis of you being a student, not an anti-fashion scheme. It is for your own sake too. Without uniform, you can’t easily distinguish whether someone is a bona fide student or not. As a matter of fact, it will be time consuming to secure and check the premises of universities if uniforms will be abolish. Thus, by just wearing your proper uniform, you can claim your 20% discount at public vehicles. Truly, your uniform together with your identification cards issued at schools will signify your position as a student in the society.
To settle this important matter, let this essay asks you again, do we need to abolish things that we used to just because the society advances? The answer is written in this piece. Its up to you whether you will agree or not. At the end of the day, people are habitually believing in the things that they perceive to be best and true. No matter how lengthy time flies, people are people.
