Victor
Viktor spotted Yuuri from the rooftop where he was standing.
Viktor took a sharp inhale, looking through the scope of the gun he had used for years. He held his breath, looking at the man he was supposed to kill. And for a moment, he swore his heart stopped. From the rooftop of the parking lot, he watched the raven haired man stroll down the streets. His chocolate brown eyes locked onto his feet while he took quick strides. His hands stuffed into the pockets of his jeans, and earbuds in. The faintest smile was on his lips, while he listened to music. Viktor then realized he was forgetting to breath. He finally caught his breath, a strong tugging feeling in his chest.
A voice in his head screamed not to shoot.
Viktor shook the thought away. Pressing his cheek against his rifle, closing his left eye, his right looking through the scope once more. Holding his breath again, he turned, his gun drifting in the direction of the Yuuri. It was then when his felt the rifle shaking against his cheek. His hands were sweating, as he tried to stop them from trembling any further. He inched his finger to the trigger, hesitating to pull it.
Then he watched the Yuuri's lips move as he sang softly. His voice barely audible to Viktor. His soft voice echoed throughout the empty streets.
For the first time in years, Viktor couldn't make the kill. Viktor was stunned by the fact that someone he wanted to hate no, someone that he needed to hate, wasn't able to be shot by him.
Instead of actually hitting Yuuri, he hit a missing dog's poster on a nearby street lamp. Oh god what did I do this time. These were Viktor's last thoughts before leaving his spot on the building.
Yuri
Yuri was over at Otabek's apartment. Yuri told him all he new about Yuuri Katsuki and Viktor Nikiforov. Otabek seemed like a nice guy, but Yuri learned to not trust many people. It was an old habit he always had and after Yuri's mom died it became more of a daily routine.
Yuri was born into a poor family. Yuri's father had died when Yuri was young and didn't leave them with much. Yuri's mother, Carmila was already working a local store, but when her husband died she had to get a couple other jobs to pay the bills. It was hard, but they were happy.
"Yuri?" Otabek said and Yuri popping out of his flashback.
"Yeah?"
"Want something to eat? It's around lunchtime."
"Sure, um... Thanks Otabek."
Otabek heated up left overs he had. It wasn't a five star meal, but it was rather enjoyable. It was just two "bros" eating lunch. Yuri didn't completely trust Otabek, but he felt that maybe he could become friends with him. Just maybe. A lot has happened to Yuri and he's only fifteen, but he intends to survive.
"Oh I forgot to ask, where did Yuuri go after he was done threatening you?" Otabek questioned
"He climbed through the window,"
"Oh,"
