Daniel's pov

"Daniel wake jack up, he's been sleeping forever". Zach says to me. I look up at him and nod. I go to jack's room and find him still sleeping. I smile to myself. I walk up to him and shake him.

"Jack" I whisper, trying not to be too loud. Jack squirms. "Jaaaccckkkk" I repeat. He squirms again. I sigh. This isn't gonna work. I go to the kitchen and grab the pots and pans. I return to jacks room. If this doesn't wake him up, I don't know what will.

I begin banging the pots together. "JACK WAKE UP! JACK WAKE UP! JACK WAKE UP! JACK WAKE UP!" I yell as loud as I possible can. Jack jumps awake. He looks at me terrified. "WHAT HAPPENED? WAS THERE IN EARTHQUAKE?!" He shouts. I give him a confused look. "Does It look- never mind. No there was not an earthquake, zach wanted me to wake you up." I say. His terrified look turns into an angry look. "BY SCARING THE SHIT OUT OF ME?!" He yells. I giggle. "Well yes, it wasn't like that at first, I tried shaking you awake but you didn't wake up so I got the pans" I say laughing. He gives me a death stare. "Don't give me that look, you know you love me" I say. " get out" he replies. I laugh and exit his room.

I take a bite of my cereal when jack comes in the kitchen. I laugh about what happened earlier causing milk to come out of my nose. Zach gives me a strange look. "You good Danny?" He asks me. I clean up the milk I spilled. "Yeah I'm fine, I was just thinking of something" I say. Jonah and Corbyn walk into the room. I sit back down and finish eating my cereal. Jack sits next to me with bowl of cereal just as I finish mine.

"You better hope you wake up before me tomorrow." Jack says to me with a devilish smile. I swallow my last bite of cereal. "Oh yeah? What are you gonna do?" I say getting up to wash my plate. "Sleep in and you'll find out" he says. I laugh while walking away. Part of me wants to find out, part of me doesn't, cause honestly jack is scary when you don't know what he's planning.

Jack's pov

I smile as Daniel walks out of the kitchen. I now need to think of a plan in case I wake up before him. Let's see... I could slap him awake. No, I slap hard and I don't want to hurt him. I could pour water on him! Yes! That's perfect. Jonah walks in the room and interrupts my thoughts. "What's up noodle head" he says. I look up at him. "Hey Jonah" I say. "Daniel told me how he woke you up this morning" he says with a chuckle. I roll my eyes. "Yeah I'm gonna get him back" I say grinning. "Yeah how?" Jonah asks. "You'll see." Jonah smiles at me and walks out, leaving me alone.

Later that night, we decide to have a movie night. I look to see what snacks we have. Nothing. "Corbyn, can you go get snacks with zach?" I ask him. He laughs. "That rhymed, and sure let me tell him" he walks up to zach and I see zach nod, assuming he agreed to go. Zach let's everyone know that he's going to the store. Jonah jumps up from the couch. "I'm coming!" He yells and runs out the door without Corbyn and zach. We all laugh and they leave. Daniel is sitting on the couch, on his phone. I see this as a perfect opportunity to scare him. I sneak up behind him trying so hard to hold in my laughter. I slam my hands on his shoulders. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?" I yell. He jumps.

I start cracking up. He gets up from the couch looking mad. "I suggest you run" he says. I giggle and get up. I start running around the house, Daniel after me. I get to the kitchen and finally Daniel catches up to me. He pins me against the wall, so there's no way to escape him. We're both out of breath. I stare into his blue eyes, while he stares into mine. I laugh. "Ok you caught me." I say catching my breath. Daniel laughs too. "And you got me back. So we're even?" He asks. I shake my head. "Not even close to what I had planned for my payback" I say. "Then I'm not letting you go" "I can stay here" I reply. I stare at him with a smile. He smiles back. "Ok! Fine we're even" I say. He let's me go. Little did he know I was crossing my fingers.

Daniel's pov

Jack finally got back at me and I don't blame him. I got him pretty good. I had to chase him down to make sure we were even. I never noticed what nice eyes he has. I say this because when I caught him I pinned him to the wall, and we just stared into each other's eyes. It was kind of awkward though so I'm glad jack spoke and broke the silence. I finally let him go once he said we were even. Minutes later zach, Jonah, and Corbyn showed up with the snacks.

During the movie, I sat next to jack. Zach sat next to Jonah, and Corbyn was on his own. Except for his teddy bear. We were watching Annabelle because tomorrow we planned on watching Annabelle: creation. It came to the point where a jump scare occurred and I found myself jumping and hiding my face in jack's shoulder. Jack laughed at me but I didn't care. I stayed like this for a while cause I was scared. I finally lifted my face back up, but to my surprise, another jump scare happened. I hide in jack's shoulder again. Although this time I take the time to appreciate the smell of his cologne. It smells so.... good. I stay like this. I feel myself start to get sleepy. Before I know it, I fall asleep with my head in jack's shoulder.

"Danny" I hear a voice say. It's whispering. I open my eyes to find jack staring back at me. "You fell asleep" jack says. I groan. "Where is everyone?" I ask him looking around. "They went to bed" he replies. "Do you want to stay here or are you going to get up?" He asks me. I don't feel like getting up. "Can you carry me?" I ask him. He laughs. "Sure , come on buddy" he says lifting me up. He take me up to my room and lays me on my bed. He puts my blanket over me and pats my shoulder. "There you go, goodnight Daniel" he says to me, walking out. For some odd reason I want him to stay with me. So I jump up and say "jack wait!" He turns around with a confused look. "What's up?" He asks. I take a deep breath trying to figure out how to ask him without making it sound weird.

"Will you stay with me? I'm- im scared." He smiles. "You don't have to be scared, there's nothing here." He replies holding his hand out to me. I smile. Sometimes jack can get on my nerves but most of the time he's sweet. "Thanks jack, you always know how to make me feel better." He smiles and releases my hand. I lay back down. Jack walks out of the room and I smile. He's the best friend anyone could ask for. I close my eyes. I feel myself drifting off again. And I'm out.

Jack's pov

I don't know why Daniel wanted me to stay with him. He's usually not like this after a scary movie. I managed to calm him down though. Who knew that a touch of my hand would calm him down? I start singing Britney Spears' song "touch of my hand." Even though the song isn't about calming people down with your hand, it's about well you know..... masturbation. Ok how about I don't talk about this any longer cause it's weird. I get to my room and basically jump into my bed. I set an alarm that I know is earlier than Daniel usually wakes up. He's getting a rude awakening tomorrow.
