Jack's pov

As we pass the bathroom, getting closer to the woods, my hears starts beating faster. The thought of what awful things that man is doing to Daniel. I take a deep breath and look around. Zach and Corbyn are ahead of me and Jonah is behind me. I turn to see Jonah. He motions to come over to him. I walk over to him.

"Dude, do you seriously think you'll be able to go through with this?" He asks.

"Yes.... maybe, idk. I can't leave Daniel there. I would not be able to live with myself." I reply. Jonah nods as if he understands.

We continue walking down, till we reach the entrance to the woods. We all stop, staring into the woods. Everyone looks at me like they're asking for me to say it's ok to go. I nod my head and they continue walking. I stay a little behind starting to question my self if I can go through with this. I'm not that strong, but it's Daniel..... and I love him. I have to save him.

We reach the point where it's pretty much pitch black, so I ask Jonah to pull out his phone flashlight. He does as asked but it doesn't make much of a difference. I squint to see if I can see better but all I see is leaves, trees, no shed. I'm starting to think Daniel isn't really here and that man just tricked us into coming in the woods to hurt us too. That is until I bump into something.  I back up and tell Jonah to come closer and shine the light on it, and as I expected... it's the shed.

"Turn off the light" I say to Jonah. Jonah obeys and shuts off the light. I walk around the shed to see if there's a window and then I find one. I look into it and see a shadow. The shadow is sitting in a chair looking down. I can't tell if it's Daniel or not, so going in is gonna be risky. I walk back to the front and meet up with the boys.

"I'm going in" I say. Jonah looks at me as if I'm crazy.

"You don't even know if he's in there, and even if he is, you don't know if he's alone or not!" Jonah says.

"Jonah that's just a risk worth taking" I say. Jonah let's out a breath of air. He just nods.

I take a step forward and step on something hard. I reach my hand down and grab wooden plank.

"Just in case" I say smirking at Jonah.

"Dude seriously be careful" he says. I nod. I take a deep breath. Well here I come Daniel.

Daniel's pov

My eye stings after the punch. I dread the moment he comes back. I thought I would be able to handle him. I thought I was brave enough. I guess not. I want to see jack, I want to go home. I start to hear noises from outside, like if people were walking. I lift my head but see nothing. I can't turn my head to the only window in the shed which is directly behind me.

Suddenly the door in front of me bursts open. My head shoots up as I see a silhouette enter the dark room. I look down closing my eyes, dreading for what's gonna happen next. I hear footsteps getting closer, as my heartbeat increases.

"Daniel?....are you ok? Can you hear me? It's jack" I hear the voice say. My heart skips a beat, as my head shoots back up and sure enough I see jack's shadow. I know that shadow anywhere. I smile.

"Jack! What are you doing here!? That man can come back any minute now" I say.

"Which is why we need to hurry the hell up" he says fidgeting with the chains.

Jack starts tugging on the chains. He runs to a bag an pulls out an axe. Where the hell did he get that?! He runs back over and holds a chain out.

"Ok so I'm gonna chop this chain off" jack says.

"Are you crazy?! What if you miss and hit my leg?!"
