“Come on! It will be fun!” Cynn coaxed me to come to a movie with his date Andrew.
“ I don’t want to be a third wheel.” I objected.
“I know you want to see this movie.”
She just wouldn’t give up. “Okay, okay. I’ll come. “ I agreed.
“Great we’ll pick you up at 7:30.”
After Cynn hung up, I wondered what was happening to me. It had been two weeks since I’d broken up with Jake. And so once again, I have no one to make plans with. Zach still was not talking to me. But I haven’t seen him around with Nathalie as well.
Cynn and Andrew picked me up on time and we drove to the cinema. There was a pretty long line to buy tickets.
“I’ll wait on this line.” I said. “You two can wait on the ticket holder’s line so we can get a good seat.”
“Okay.” Cynn agreed and she walked off with Andrew.
“Mind if I cut in line?” a familiar masculine voice said from behind.
“Zach!” I felt my hear beat faster, like eeverytime I think of him these days.
“Are you here alone?” He asked smiling.
“I came with Cynn and Andrew. How about you?” In my mind I silently prayed for him to be alone. “Are you with Nathalie?”
He shook his head.“Nathalie and I were just friends. “ He reached for my hands. “I came alone. Mind if I tag along?” His gaze locked with mine and I felt something clicked together. Like there is no more need for words.
Felling somewhat dazed, I waited in silence with Zach to buy tickets., then found Cynn and Andrew and gave them theirs.
The next thing I knew, Zach and I was sitting togetherin the back of the dark movie theater., and he had his arm around me.
After the movie was over I couldn’t have told anyone the plot. All I could remember was the feel of Zach’s lips on mine when he kissed me.
And kissed me again.
And this time. I am sure that I am kissing the right brother <3 <3 <3
