The world is run by chemicals,
And they're consuming more and more.
Chemicals may make things right,
But they may start a war.Warfare goes on everywhere,
Not just in foreign lands.
It rages on inside my mind,
And controls both my hands.Sometimes it will break my mind,
Leaving me torn apart.
Other times it lifts me up
And gives me a fresh start.I wonder if things would improve
If we were all machines.
Robots only need some fuel,
And aren't broken by chemical means.A/N: If you liked this poem, consider leaving a like or giving feedback :)
