Blindly feeling against the walls,
Roaming down seemingly endless halls.
Footsteps pursuing from the start,
Increasing the rate of your beating heart.
When you stop, so do they.
How long have you been here... An hour? A day?
Time is lost in this strange place,
The outside world has left no trace.
The stalker is even closer now,
And beads of sweat rest on your brow.
There is a light, shining ahead.
Filling the tunnel with an eerie red.
You break out into a run,
Heading for what you believe is the sun.
The pursuer begins to grab at you,
Holding you back. What can you do?
Just up ahead, you're almost there.
Your body begins to tear.
Blood pours out from every part,
Now the light is gone, you're back at the start.
The pain is gone, and so is the blood,
Then begins the familiar "thud, thud, thud".
