The One Where It All Seems True

I put on the same outfit I wore in my dreams when we kissed. Hopping it would happen again. I slowly ran down the stairs hopping not to wake anyone up. Just my luck.

My brother and his girlfriend were sleeping on the couch. Why am I scared? I am 22 I don't need his help. I started to walk normally and unlocked the door. I then close it and locked it.

I grabbed my bike out of the garage. If you couldn't remember I got in a car crash and it was really bad. I lost my car. But I threw my hood over my head and put in some ear buds. I started to bike to his house.

Just then I saw a car turn behind me. I went to the side. They started slowing down. I didn't know what to think. One of the guys in the car rolled down his window. I thought it might have been Grayson. But it wasn't.

"Where are you going beautiful?" He asked bitting his lip.

"Somewhere. Now fuck off." I said flipping them off.

"You want me to fuck off? I'll fuck on you." He said. I got really annoyed.

"You fucking perve," I said biking faster, I can bike really fast. I took a turn then into a biking turn.

I lost them. I was relieved. I continued biking to Grayson's. When I got there I saw the same car. I got worried. Just then I saw a man standing in the dark staring at me. He started walking towards me. I backed up.

"It's ok. It's only me. Grayson." He said moving more towards me.

"Oh god Grayson. You scared me." I said laughing.

"Sorry. Come on it's up here." He said grabbing my hand. It was a different place then what I remember from the dream.

"Wait, where are we going." I asked pulling back as he turned around.

"To the party." He said

"So this isn't your building." I asked.

"No it is. But I have friends who are here who throw parties all the time" he said pulling me again.

We walked to his friends place. When we arrived I looked around. It was way different. Kinda sketchy. His friend opened the door as Grayson put his hand out for me to grab. Do I really trust him? I just met him.

"Can I trust you?" I asked.

He chuckled. "Of course. Why do you ask?" He said confused.

"Well, I just met you and this place seems sketchy. I swear if your playing any tricks you won't see another day in your life." I said grabbing his hand.

He laughed as he pulled me into the party. I hate partying. I sat down the couch that was there. I saw Grayson immediately go for the drinks. I pulled out my phone and just started to read random stuff on Instagram.

I looked at the crowd to see someone familiar. Shit. It's that fucking ass hole who was following me. I looked away trying not to drag attention to myself, just then I felt someone sit beside me. Please don't me him. I said in my head looking over at who it was. It was just a couple kissing.

I scooted over in the couch so they had more room. I locked my phone then buried my face in my hands.

"You ok? You see sad." A guy said. A dark husky voice. Kinda like Grayson's but different. ETHAN! I shot my head up.

"Yes I am fine. I just don't like going to parties." I said butting my face back in my hands.

"Ok. Well, then why did you come." He asked sitting beside me.

"You invited me." I said trying not to make it obvious I knew who it was.

"Oh. That wasn't me. That was my twin brother Grayson. He's over there talking to his friends." He said pointing to Grayson who was laughing. "Well I am going to talk to them."

I waved at him. I then stood up and made my way to the washroom. I pushed trough the crowd of people and finally reached the bathroom. I opened the door then walked inside closing it. I looked for a lock but couldn't find one.

I just looked at myself in the mirror. I put down my hood. Just as I heard the door opening. I stood there in shock. I see Grayson who smiled.

"Grayson? Don't you know not to walk in on a girl who is using the bathroom?" I said as we both laughed.

"Doesn't look like you are using the bathroom." He smiled. "Anyways my brother told me how you were feeling. Why don't you come back to my place. You can stay the night. No funny business."

I smiled at him. "I would very much do like that." I said. He pulled me out of the bathroom. We pushed through the crowd of people to get out.

~back at his apartment~

We got back in as I shivered. Same decoration and same walls, rooms and everything.

"Are you cold?" He asked me looking at me.

"No not re..." before I could say anything else he pulled me into a tight hug.

I felt warm inside. I felt happy for once. I smiled in his arm. He let go.

"Your really nice." I said as we both smiled.

We looked deeply into each other's eyes as he leaned for wards. I leaned in to. His soft warm lips touched mine. Sending electricity all down my body. He grabbed my waist making my whole body feel weak. I wrapped my arms around his. We made out for a short minute then departing our lips.

I coughed. He brought me over to the couch and played a movie. We cuddled and I feel asleep fast in his arms feeling safe.
