Cancer?

A/N: THIS CHAPTER IS NOT MAKING FUN OF CANCER OR PREGNANCY! CANCER IS A VERY SERIOUS THING AND I WOULD NEVER DO ANYTHING THAT WOULD TELL YOU CANCER IS A FUNNY THING. NOR IS PREGNANCY! PREGNANCY IS A VERY SERIOUS THING ASWELL! IM NOT MAKING FUN OF IT.

"Where are you going?" Grayson asked wrapping his arms around my waist from behind me.

"A doctors appointment." I said turning around.

"For what?" He asks as our noses touch.

"Every year I go and check to see if I have cancer. I grew up with someone who had cancer, so I could have it." I say. He gives me a slight smile.

His soft lips connect with mine. He pulls away and whispers in my ear, "You don't have cancer."

I smiled and then pulled out of his grip.

"Whatever you say Mr.Doctor." I say walking out the door before he could get a chance to say something.

I am really nervous about going to this doctor. She was my doctor when I was a child. When my mom passed away she was always there for me. She helped me out of a dark stage. She was my moms best friend, and my only friend besides Lily.

"Emili Burke. Doctor Nora is ready to see you." Her assistant Melody came out with a smile.

I walked over to her with a smile.

"How've you been kid?" She says rubbing my back. Melody always greeted me.

"Good, You look great Melody." I say hugging her.

"Thanks. Same goes for you. You've really aged. We'll talk after. Nora is ready to see you." She says opening a door and escorting me into a room.

"Just sit down, she'll be with you soon." She said. I nodded as I knew how things worked.

About 5 minutes past and Nora opened the door. She held out her arms.

"Emili!!" She said as she gave me a huge hug. I hugged back.

"You look amazing. I was surprised when you booked an appointment. I thought you moved to Los Angeles." She said with pure smile of happiness and joy.

"I did move with my dad and my brother. Then my dad passed away and now it's just me and my brother, but I came to visit my boyfriends family with him." I said as I sat on the X-ray bed.

"I'm sorry for your loss. It's good to know that you have a boyfriend. How Elijah." She says as she was setting up some sort of machine.

"He's good." I say.

"Alright. Let's get started, I am just going to hook you up to a couple of things for an X-ray, then I'm going to draw some blood for a test." She says with a smile. I nod.

I'm texting Grayson as I was waiting for Nora to come back to tell me about the X-rays and the tests. This place is really fast with stuff like this.

Grayson:
I love you. ♥️♥️♥️

Emili:
I love you more.♥️♥️♥️

Grayson:
Impossible.♥️😍
You nervous?

Emili:
Yes. I don't think I'll have cancer. But you never know.

Grayson:
I'm sure you don't. ♥️

Emili:
I have to go. She's back.♥️♥️

Grayson:
Ok, see you when you get home. ♥️♥️

I shut my phone off as I heard a sigh come from Nora.

"You might want to sit up for this." She says, getting me really worried.

"What, what's wrong with me?" I say breathing faster.

"You don't have Cancer." She says."But.." she continues on.

"What?" I say placing my hand on my heart.

"Your pregnant. You can do 1 out of 3 things." She exclaims.

My heart completely dies. I have no feeling.

"You can get an abortion, you can give it up for adoption, or you can keep it." She says looking down.

"I'm not going to kill a life. I would never abandon my child and put it with another family. My only option is to keep it." I say. She smiles.
