The One Where He Conforts Me

I sat at the park for about 1 hour more. I kept on changing spots. The equipment was old and rusty. Right before I was about to leave I heard footsteps in the gravel. Making me scared.

I jolted my head around to see someone in a black hoodie just standing there. He came into the light. A very familiar face. Not Grayson though. More like ETHAN!

"Ethan!? What are you doing here?" I whispered out loud.

"I might have followed you." He said walking towards me. He sat on the swing next to me.

"Why are you here?" I asked looking away.

"I heard you and Grayson fighting. I felt bad for fighting with you so I thought I could help you in some way." He said trying to comfort me.

"What could you possibly help me with?" I ask looking back at him.

"Just tell me what happened." He said. I looked down.

"Grayson... he umm. I can't say." I say looking the other way but still looking down.

"Did he force himself on you?" He asked. I took a deep breath. I looked at him.

We stared in each others eyes. I broke the stare by looking down.

"I don't know. Maybe." I say. I don't want Ethan to hate him or do something to him. And yes I mean hate.

"Well he either did or didn't. Which one Emili." He said. I could hear the anger in his voice. He started to tense up. I looked back at him.

"Yes ok. But he said he was sorry. I just needed time alone." I said trying to calm him down.

"You know what I am going to do to that little f..." He said but I cut him off.

"No your not going to do anything. He may be your brother but he doesn't deserve it." I said holding his hands trying to calm him down.

He looked at our hands. I pulled away and looked back down.

"Fine, but don't forget I am here for you. I am your best bud." He said nudging me. I laughed.

"How about this. First one to get highest gets to post a picture on instagram. Loser can't for 2 weeks." I said.

"Your going down." He said as he started swinging. I started to swing.

"How about we make it 1 week." He said while swinging.

"Ok!" I screamed as I was going higher.

I swung of the swings and landed right on the ground. I feel onto my butt. I started to laugh. Ethan came right after me rolling farther. He stood up and walked over to me.

He held out his hand. I grabbed it and stood up. I whipped the dust off of me. I looked up at Ethan who was just staring at me. He put his hand on my face, leaning in. I pull away.

"Sorry." He said clearing his through and looking away.

"No it's ok, but your my best friend and I have a boyfriend." I said as we both laughed.

We started walking. We talked the whole time. Telling jokes, stories, memories. All kinds of things.

He licked his lips a lot. I looked down at my sweater to see it zipped down halfway. I quickly zipped it back up. I acted like nothing was wrong and so did he. We were in his neighbourhood.

Ethan stopped me.

"Whatever you do Do Not tell Grayson about what we talked about ok?" He said making sure I understood.

"Yes. I won't." I said. We stared to walk again. We reached his house.

He opened the door. We took off our stuff. We started to walk until we reached the stairs. I looked around to see if Grayson was around. He wasn't.

"Thank Ethan. Good night." I said walking up the stairs.

I walked into Grayson's room and shut the door quietly. When I turned around Grayson was right there. I jumped.

"Oh my god Grayson. You scared me." I said trying to move past him but he just kept on blocking me. "What is your problem."

"I am sorry. You need to understand that. I didn't mean anything I said. Or at least anything negative." He said getting closer to me.

My heart started to race. I went under his arm and straight past him. I took off my hoodie.

"I know your sorry. I just needed time to think and clear my mind." I said sitting down in the bed.

"You could have done that with me." He said tensing up.

"No. I needed to do it alone Grayson. Please stop your scaring me." I said putting the covers over me. He came in right next to me.

"I'm Sorry. I've just never liked someone so much before. I've never actually done stuff like this before. I've never been with beautiful women like you." He said as the flattered me. I turned over.

"It's ok." I said giving him a kiss on the lips. I turned back around.

He wrapped his arms around me giving me a big hug. We cuddled and I fell asleep. So did he.
