Midnight Caller (Colby Brock x Reader)

Chapter 8

Colby's POV

I woke up, (Y/n) still sleeping next to me. I stood up carefully, hoping to not wake her up. I looked in the mirror at myself. Messy hair as usual, pajama pants, and no shirt.

I walked out of her room quietly and slipped into mine. I opened my dresser drawer and pulled out a pair of black jeans and my hooded short sleeve shirt, which was also black. I changed into my clothes and combed my hair, topping off my outfit with a beanie.

I slipped on some socks and went downstairs. I pulled out a pan, spatula, and pancake mix. I added the water to the mix and poured it into the pan.

I made enough pancakes for all 8 people to eat 3. They were pretty big, so maybe we'll have some left overs. I also made scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage.

(Y/n) walked downstairs and into the kitchen while I was making the last of the pancakes. "Morning sunshine." I said.

"Wow Colby. Starting the morning off cooking and being cheesy." She kissed me on the cheek and made her plate.

Right after, Aaron, Corey, and Devon walked downstairs and Elton and Amanda walked out of the living room. "Good morning everyone." I said cheerfully.

"Morning Colby. What got you into the breakfast making mood?" Elton asked.

"I don't know. I just didn't know what else to do. So I made breakfast." I said, scraping the rest of the scrambled eggs onto the bowl full of them.

Everyone made their plates and sat down to eat in the dining room. I made my own  plate and sat next to (Y/n) while we ate.

"So, today I was thinking we should all go to an amusement park. What do you think?" Elton suggested.

"I'm down for anything other than a damn Ouija board." (Y/n) commented.

"Same." Corey said, (Y/n) giving him a high five.

"Yeah. What time do you want to leave?" Sam asked Elton.

"Maybe 9:30. Get there right when they open at 10." Elton answered.

"Lets do it then." Aaron said.

We finished eating and put our dushee in the dishwasher. Everyone went upstairs to get ready. (Y/n) was the first person to come downstairs.

"I didn't know what else to where, so I threw on a hoodie and shorts." She said.

"That's okay. You still look cute to me." I kissed her softly.

I wrapped my arms around the middle of her back, and she put her arms around my neck. I made a great decision of being with her. (Y/n) makes me happy, and that's all I could ask for.
