Chapter 24

I snapped out of my own imagination and placed (Y/n)'s plate on the table in front of her. I wish I could propose to her. I just think it's too early.

I grabbed my own plate off the counter and we are breakfast together. Oreo looked at me with sad puppy eyes. "Ugh, fine. Here you go, Oreo."

I gave Oreo a piece of bacon.

"But the rest is for me. My bacon." I pointed at myself with my thumb.

(Y/n) giggled. I know that even if she can't see me properly, she knows exactly what I'm doing. I guess I'm just that predictable.

Sam's POV

I stopped editing for a moment. I realized that being single again meant I don't have anyone to really talk to. No one to hang out with as often. But Kat cheated on me with Brennen. I guess we just weren't meant to be.

I also realized that my best friend is mostly blind. She couldn't see me anymore. Not clearly, at least. My blue eyed, brown haired best friend is so worried about his girlfriend to even consider doing something with me.

Maybe I should just ask instead of making myself sad. With that thought, I stood up and left my bedroom.

I jogged downstairs to find my best friends eating bacon, eggs and toast. Neither of them heard or saw me, so I decided I would scare them. I threw on Colby's bunny mask and snuck through the game room up behind Colby.

I knew (Y/n) couldn't see me too well, so it would definitely scare her more. I was right up behind Colby and he didn't even notice.

"Umm..... C-Colby..." (Y/n) said, pointing behind Colby at me.

Colby turned around, so I screamed at him, making him jump, scream and fall out of his chair.

"Fuck you, Sam. That's not funny." Colby said as (Y/n) and I died laughing.

I love my friends so much.
