"oh.. that's cool, so uhh-"  "Let me stop you right there," I said. "I have a lot of secrets, no time to tell you, and no clue how to be in a relationship. You still up for me?"

We stood in silence for what seems like an eternity, the students for the next class filing in, the rain still hitting the windows at a comfortable pace. The sounds of people yelling at us to move seemed to be blocked out by choice. How? I don't know. As I finally decided to turn away and leave, this dude calls after me. "HEY! Wait up... I was wondering if we could go out on a date. Homecoming?" "Ummm. I guess? I... ya, okay. I'll see you tomorrow..." When it became apparent that I still didn't know his name, he seemed to be shocked. " Jax. Jax Heel." " Thank you, Jax. I will see you later." And then I walked out like a pro, only tripping twice, and bumping into a pole on my way out.
