Across For Him (Completed)

Chapter 18

Lawrence was running towards Darren to tell him to get the fuck out of the castle. But, while running, he saw the roots start to get into the castle. The entrance had all sorts of plants come creeping in. Roots, vines, huge flowers, you name it! Lawrence knew he had to get to Darren.

Darren saw what was happening when he started to head to the entrance to look outside. He saw the plants and say he had keys. He then started to run through the building, locking and unlocking doors, turning behind every once in awhile, checking to make sure he was safe.

He then realized he left something behind.

Lawrence.

He started to run back, as fast as he could, aching sides, no feeling in his legs, all of the pains possible for running were climbing into his body. He saw Lawrence running towards him.

Darren stopped as Lawrence kept on running. The plants bust forward into the kingdom right as Lawrence made it to Darren. The plants started to tear up the castle. The two boys saw that the back of the rooms they were running through were being flooded by the green problems with chlorophyll.

Darren and Lawrence were about to run up some stairs until Lawrence pulled Darren into the open kingdom. The plants weren't spreading there! Lawrence pulled Darren into the village behind the castle's grey, moldy walls. They shut and locked a door from behind them, and just stood there.

Suddenly, from the entrance to the village, the plants invaded even more, somehow. They blocked off that entrance with a wall of briars and started to surround the village. All of the doors burst with plants, luckily our lovers got away from the door.

Then, a black female, wearing nothing but a leather coat with plants covering her.. (A/N I'm a guy and I'm trying to sound as inoffensive as possible. Is being a homosexual an excuse for this?) breasts and.. (Fuck me) other things, arose from the front side of the castle. She was holding the ice queen's head.

"Causing an entire village to become destroyed and flee to my town, my ruins of a former civilization, waste all of the materials, and still look for a peaceful option, sickens me. And only in one week. You destroyed an entire village and then they fled. And one week later, revenge came."

Then, she enclosed a dome that was forming around the village.

"We're fucked, Lawrence. There's no escape for us. We'll die." Said Darren, holding onto Lawrence.

"Stop being so pessimistic. We'll survive. There's no need to worry." Said Lawrence, trying to cheer Darren up, but he was afraid too. He knew there was no chance of surviving.

"Right?" Lawrence said, fear in his voice.

Darren kissed him, while plants started to destroy houses.

They held hands, knowing they wouldn't survive.

The plants started to get close to Darren and Lawrence. The plants already destroyed half of the village.

"Goodbye." Darren said. Tears formed in his eyes.

"We can live forever, Darren." Said Lawrence, starting to cry. "R-right?" Lawrence held Darren closer if that's even possible.

I'M GONNA MAKE YOU ALL MAD BUT.... MEANWHILE, ELLIE AND EPHIA MAKE IT TO THE NATURE AREA WITH THE HELP OF IGNIS

Nothing was there except for two people crying. A boy with blue hair, tan skin and freckles. He had a top hat with goggles, a blue and brown shirt with straps and all, and a backpack. And a girl, with a fair, bright face. She had tears, and her green hair got all up in her face. She had a torn, grey gown on.

"I can't believe Kantya did that!" Wailed the girl.

The boy was comforting the sobbing of the girl.

Do-Yeon then appeared.

"Lawrence and Darren. Danger. Big plants attack castle." He said, out of breath.

The two people head the exchange going on between the teens.

"Plants?" Asked the boy.

"Yeah." Said Do-Yeon. He had a backpack on. "We'll probably need to change Lawrence and Darren's outfits once we get there."

"We have weapons. Our friend, Kantya, was recently used for testing a potion. She had powers before since she was a descendant of the giants. She was injected with power, and she can't handle the pain. She's taking it out on others, like she usually does." The boy and girl said, finishing each other's sentences.

They gave the others lightweight but powerful weapons.

"Run." They said.

AT THE KINGDOM

Lawrence and Darren were kissing, knowing they'll die.

"W-we'll die next. Tha-at girl is mad with p-p-p-power." Said Lawrence pointing to Katya, breaking down.

Darren didn't talk, he just kissed his boyfriend. His final words, or at least what he thought they would be, and I'm pretty sure he was correct, were "Thank you for being there." 

After a few more seconds of violent making out, Darren was stabbed with a root.

Lawrence felt Darren stop 'tounguing' I guess and opened his eyes. He witnessed Darren reach out a hand. Lawrence took it, but Darren couldn't speak.

All Lawrence could muster was a little "Don't go," but that didn't work.

Darren couldn't feel.

Lawrence saw the root come towards him, but instead, he heard a bang noise.

"No, no!" Lawrence yelled. He wanted to die. He was on the ground, crying, wishing everything was better. The roots then started to disappear. Kantya fell, and splattered on the ground. She was shot. In through the door came Ellie, Do-Yeon, Ephia and two other people.

The boy went to the head Kantya was holding, the other to Kantya herself.

Ephia, Ellie and Do-Yeon ran over to Darren and Lawrence.

"Darren might be dead." Said Lawrence.

Then, a plane jet could be heard. Not one of those old, clunky ones that the island had, a modern jet.

Lawrence's parents had gotten help.
