Indies POV
As soon as we get in our bikes I start explaining. When we get back to Marcos house we first go in the kitchen, putting the ice cream on the counter and grabbing some spoons when suddenly Kori grabs me from behind and connects her lips with mine.
I respond with just as much gusto and we don't stop until we hear someone clearing their throats behind us.
We turn around and see the whole squad giving us teasing smiles.
Lacy looks at me and silently asks the question I know she would. I shake my head.
We have to sit down and explain what just went down.
The clock strikes midnight. "Happy 1t indie!" I had totally forgotten. Its my birthday.
