I self consciously adjust the pin on my shirt. Its a rainbow circle with the words #operationlgbtqeducate. I have a bucket of them which the newly formed Love is Love club and I will be handing out. It was Indies idea-both the pins and the club.
So far we have Marco and jonathan(boyfriends), Abigail-trans, toby- bi, Lacy-lesbian, Jonathan-gay, Gabbie-lesbian, Independence-bi, and me, also bi.
We march in a circle in front of school with our signs: Love is a terrible thing to hate, we're out of the closet you cant put us back in, etc.
And for the first time, I felt like I belonged.
