River's POV

I gently cupped my hands on his cheeks, pressing my lips against his. It felt so magical, it was so perfect. The way he slipped his tongue inside my mouth was so perfect. He looked a little anxious, I felt bad.

"You okay? You seem a little off."

Brent: "NO! I'm fine.."

I could tell he was blushing, his cheeks were all red. I tried to keep in my laughter, but it didn't work. I was laughing so hard, Brent looked scared. I explained why, and he started laughing. He didn't realize that he was thinking out loud.

"Wow. Your so funny!"

He laughed a little.

Brent: "I try."

He hugs me really tight, he smells so good.

Brent: "Awww! Your so cute."

I blush a little, he called me cute!

"Thanks. Your not to bad yourself."

I start laughing a little, he's so perfect. He means everything to me, even though all that happened.

"Can you tell me what happened..?"

He looked down at the ground, fiddling with his fingers.

Brent: "Um.. Well you see."

I look at him.

"Will, another kiss work?"

He chuckles but stop. He looks at me all serious.

Brent: "I made that car hit you.. I told Allison to hit you.."

I start crying so hard really hard. I don't get what he just said.

"W-w-what.."

He looks at the ground.

Brent: "No. I-i-i-.. I told someone to hit you with the car.."

I looked at him, I was rubbing my eyes out.

"W-w-what.."

I still couldn't take in what he just said. Why would he want me to get hurt? Who's Allison.. Or was it Ally? He mumble the words out, I couldn't hear him.

Brent: "Look, I'm sorry.. I can't tell you everything. Your in great danger. Your brother didn't actually go home."

I was crying my eyes out at this point.

Brent: "Please forgive me."

He nudged my shoulder, I nearly flinched.

"Don't talk to me like nothing ever happened."
