Ch. 17: Opposites Attract

Matthew's POV

I guess you could say, were going on this crazy journey, with Chrissy and River to find Carter. What hurts that Carter told me that he was hurting and was getting all these crazy messages. We promised each other that we told everything and never keep anything from each other. He promised.. But why? Why, didn't he tell me this or that? Why? The thought always buzzed me. I thought he was best friend.. But.. Why..? Everyone seemed quiet, River was babbling along with her stupid plan.

River: "Everyone Agree?"

Everyone nodded their heads. Slam came stumbling down, in all honesty it looked like he banged a girl all night.

Slam: "What the frick are we agreeing for?"

River scoffed, she hated when people barge into a conversation. She rolled her eyes, going back to the conversation.

"Dude. Lay off my sister."

Slam: "Or what?"

I glared at him, so much changed. He changed his personality so much, it was like he was trying to cover something up.

"Just stop!"

He smirks, he knew I was getting mad.

Slam: "Whatever, your such a weak fool."

I was already frustrated, why did he just have to say that?

Slam's POV

It was so funny how Matthew got so mad easily. His reaction was priceless, it was so fun to mess with him. Everyone just glared at me, I didn't give a crap. River was still saying stupid stuff about some plan. She glared at me, I winked at her.

River: "Your such a kiss-up."

I chuckled a little.

"Oh, really?"

She rolled her eyes. Everyone just stared at the both of us.

"I'm not. Plus I'm in a relationship with someone else."

She glared at me, does she really think she was the one I'm dating?

River: "Who?"

"You'll be surprised on who.."

River: "I don't give a crap right now."

I winked at her, pulling out a cigarrete pack. The guys told to me to go outside, I stayed there not moving an inch.

"Well, I'm dating Chrissy..."

River: "WAIT WHAT?!"

"Told you."

Everyone stared upstairs at Carter's bedroom. Then looking back at me, screw there opinions. I didn't give a crap, I loved Chrissy more than anything. Chrissy swung the door open, her face looking redder than ever.

Chrissy: "You told them..?"

I nodd, giving her a kiss on the cheek.

River: "You don't like Carter..?!"

Chrissy: "No, I don't."

Everyone shot Chrissy dirty looks.

Nash: "Why are you crying then?"

"Hey! It's her business not mine."

He rolled his eyes, looking a little hurt. Wait, till they find out the actual truth.. Chrissy can't make a peep, or else she's dead.

River's POV

The anger in my eyes. I was so pissed off at Chrissy. Who the heck does she think she is? Queen of the slut world? She literally hits on everyone, which disgusts me. Chrissy and Carter were in love, she had that smile on her face. Now, Slam? Last person on Earth I execpted to go out with. The thoughts popped into my mind... Why does she see in Slam? I glance at Slam and Chrissy kissing each other. It looked so different than Carter and her kissed. She still has feelings for Carter if she wanted to go find him. I walked over to Slam and Chrissy, which were intensly making out. Everyone started gagging, Nash and Cameron started making faces at her. It was so funny, I couldn't help but laugh. Slam glared at me, letting out a low grunt.
