I woke up to the sound of thunder booming through my head which was currently pounding on pain.

When my eyes opened I was presented with a high vaulted ceiling, an intricate painting displayed over head.

A battle, raging on through day and through night. Blood smeared and pooled and different spots as wolves launched at each other, anger flaring in their eyes. Their teeth flashing in the light of day and the light of night making their inaudible ferocious snarls almost heard. Each detail was sharp and clear, you could almost see each and every stroke the painter made when making the piece.

I laid there emotionless as a door opened, my eyes still pinned the ceiling above me. I didn't dare look directly at the person who entered, but instead found myself sneaking a peek.

Across the room stood Alpha Malum, his back turned to me. And then I couldn't help but stare. Black ink swirled across his back in an intricate design, which was bare to me. It ran over every dip and divot as he did whatever it was he was doing. It was glistening with water droplets which had fallen from his black hair.

I had heard of the Alpha markings before in the pages of a worn out book. It had said that everyone in the Alpha Hierarchy in the Mori Pack was supposed to have them. The Alpha with black, the Beta with gold, the Delta with Silver, and the Gamma with bronze. There had been no photographs to go with the information so I never knew what it looked like. One could say that what Alpha Malum had was simply a tattoo, but it was too detailed, too intricate and delicate for anyone to do but the Moon Goddess herself.

"I almost thought you were staring," Alpha Malum said, his calm and menacing voice filling my ears. He didn't turn around towards me and kept himself facing the dresser in front of him.

"Why did you walk in shirtless?" I retorted. "Seriously, put a shirt on."

"I walked in shirtless because I had a shower and I had no shirt and because if I had been wearing a shirt right now we wouldn't be having this conversation."

"Desperate pup," I mumbled before turning over. I had just realized that I had been situated on a large king size bed, the black silk sheets feeling nice underneath my body.

"Desperate. I haven't heard that one in a while."

"I can imagine your mother said it a lot to you." I rolled my eyes when he growled. "You're so dramatic. It's annoying."

I felt a finger prodding my back causing my neck to heat up. That's when I when I remembered everything that happened. From my argument with the evil Alpha to the same evil Alpha Marking me. My eyes widened as I shot up before scooting away from Malum who was standing at the side of the bed.

"Don't touch me," I whispered softly, my own voice not known to myself.

"Don't touch you. I am not allowed to touch what I have rightfully claimed?"

"You Marked me without my approval," I hissed, a growl rumbling in the pit of my stomach as I slowly cover the Mark he made with my hand.

I heard the snarl before I saw the pounce and before I knew it I was pinned down, his weight preventing me from any escape. With struggled twists and turns I tried to get away, but he was too strong for even me.

"How dare you cover up my mark!" Malum yelled, his voice hitting my ears hard causing my head to turn away. "You will never do that. Ever. Not even on your death bed will you cover it. I want it to a reminder of what you've become. At this point you have become the Luna of this pack and it will hate you because they won't know that you're not my mate. They will think that the Moon Goddess chose you to be with me which must mean that you were born from Hell. You're a pathetic mutt that I chose and they will hate you because you will be forced to obey my orders and agree with my accusations. You will become the Luna of Evil. And you will be just that until the day your breath leaves your lungs."
