Walking to Caleb's house as the sun started coming up through the snow and ice isn't always the funnest thing to do. My small hands trembled and tingled as I knocked on his door.

His mother opened the door and flashed one of her famous warm smiles.

"Hey Elizabeth. Here for Caleb," she asks

"Yep," I say as she lets me in

"He's in his room," she says

"Thank you," I smile

Heading upstairs I hear grumbling and yelling. I roll my eyes knowing Bradley was in one of his "moods". Cautiously I opened Caleb's door only to be pushed back by Bradley as he tried to leave with a sweatshirt.

"Stop stealing my stuff Caleb," he yelled slamming his door

"I didn't. You let me borrow it," Caleb mumbles, "Oh! Hey Ella, what are you doing here?"

"Wanna hang out," I ask

"I would but, I'm going to my dads for a week. Hey. Wanna come," he asks standing up from his bed

"I don't think Bradley would like that,"

"I don't care. Come. It will be fun. Please," he says dragging out the please.

"Alright fine," I mumble and smile as he hugs me.

He grabs his bag and leads me downstairs.

"Mom. So you have Ella's extra clothes bag? She's coming with me to dads," Caleb asks Mrs. Baker.

"Of course," she says getting it down from the shelf in the small laundry room, "here you go sweetie."

She hands me the backpack.

"Tha-"

"Mom, when are we leaving. I wanna prepare myself," I hear someone say, interrupting me.

"Were leaving now Bradley," she says looking at him," Ted just got home so let's go."

I look at Bradley he's glaring at the floor. Mumbling something. I frown. I don't understand him anymore.

Caleb sits in his seat and Bradley goes to get in his when his mom stops him.

"What," he asks as I crawl in, "she's coming? Mom! Great this week is getting better by the second."

I clench my jaw and stare out the foggy window.

"Would you move your fat butt over," I hear Bradley mumble
