Adrenaline(the way you are)

 As​ ​i​ ​feel​ ​the​ ​energy​ ​coursing​ ​through​ ​my​ ​veins, And​ ​the​ ​emotions​ ​flicking​ ​my​ ​heart​ ​as​ ​it​ ​beats​ ​inconsistently;  I​ ​feel​ ​hyped​ ​and​ ​alert,​ ​as​ ​you​ ​stare​ ​me​ ​down,​ ​trying​ ​to​ ​be​ ​my​ ​prey​ ​as​ ​i​ ​was​ ​your​ ​predator. You​ ​made​ ​me​ ​feel​ ​sub​ ​human,​ ​but​ ​i​ ​didn't​ ​want​ ​this. I​ ​wanted​ ​to​ ​feel​ ​normal,  Like​ ​a​ ​human, Like​ ​my​ ​past,  The​ ​way​ ​you​ ​talk,​ ​the​ ​way​ ​you​ ​smile,​ ​the​ ​way​ ​you​ ​show​ ​me​ ​you​ ​love​ ​me. But​ ​i​ ​keep​ ​distant​ ​cause​ ​i​ ​don't​ ​want​ ​to​ ​hurt​ ​you,  I​ ​don't​ ​want​ ​you​ ​to​ ​feel​ ​pain​ ​like​ ​me,  Cause​ ​it​ ​hurts. Trust​ ​me,​ ​every​ ​thought,​ ​memories​ ​and​ ​gaps​ ​kills​ ​you, And​ ​i​ ​break​ ​down  Screaming​ ​why? Why​ ​did​ ​i​ ​get​ ​you? Why​ ​do​ ​you​ ​like​ ​me? Why​ ​can't​ ​i​ ​sleep​ ​when​ ​i​ ​think​ ​of​ ​you?  Every​ ​pill​ ​i​ ​take,  To​ ​drown​ ​me​ ​in​ ​space​ ​and​ ​peace​ ​and​ ​rid​ ​of​ ​these​ ​headaches​ ​i​ ​feel. Those​ ​times​ ​tho When​ ​we​ ​were​ ​happy,  But​ ​that​ ​was​ ​a​ ​rollercoaster
