It all started with one bank transaction...
"I may have tried to forget him, but I can't forget what he did that night..."
"Ten million? That's more than enough of my required CASA budget for this month!" Livina exclaimed. "I only need six million additional deposit for the monthend, Ryan."
It's been a week since that island vacation, and Ana had been deliberately avoiding him. Whenever Ryan comes to the bank to transact, Ana would walk away from her table and go to the back office. And being a valued client, Ryan was always ushered to the manager's office. He tried waiting for her after work, but when she saw him, she called for a cab service over the phone. The next day, she started bringing her car.
"It's okay, Tita. I'll deposit ten million and I'm not withdrawing it for a month. Just make Ana come to the dinner meeting next week."
"Are you bribing me for a date with my teller, Ryan?! Does your mother know about this?" Livina looks flabbergasted.
"Soon, she will, Tita," Ryan guilefully smiles.
"Are you serious about this? Please don't play with her feelings. I know what you've been doing, Ryan. Ana is a nice girl."
"I know she is. That's why I'm pursuing her." Ryan seriously said.

"Have a seat, Ana." Livina called Ana inside her office. "I'm sorry for the short notice, but I was invited to a business meeting this Friday with Mr. Mago. I can't attend to it because I have already set an appointment with Mrs. Villena. Jessy is having family dinner, and Maui is attending her daughter's school affair."
"Why me?" Ana thought to herself. "The other tellers are much older and experienced than me."
As if Livina can read her thoughts, "I am asking you because you need to experience this. All the girls have gone through this. And I can see your potentials in becoming an officer of the bank someday." Then she added, "All you have to do is to be with Mr. Mago, he will be meeting his investor and he will be inquiring about necessary bank products and documents that will be needed with their business transactions. So I want you to review our policies and procedures regarding our corporate account opening and other products that might be needed with their business dealings."
"Ok, Miss Livi." Ana didn't know if she'd feel nervous about this or excited. But this is her chance to show her determination with her job. Over time, she had grown to love being a banker as much as she adored the benefits she gets from it. "Would that be all?"
"Yes, I'll furnish you with the time of the dinner later so that you'll have ample time to prepare."
"Ok." Ana stood up. "Thank you for trusting me, Miss Liv."
She began to head back to her table when she thought, "Oh, I should ask about the place. That would give me ample time to drive too." She turned around and began to open her mouth.
"Oh, Ana, I forgot to tell you. Mr. Mago will send his driver to pick you up."

It's six o'clock in the evening. The dinner will be at seven. Ana was doing some finishing touches with her make-up. The driver will arrive anytime soon. She does not need to put on too much make-up because she is comfortable with her natural looks.
She wore a knee-length pencil skirt with her sleeveless top that matches with the cardigan.
