It's now a few weeks after I took maternity leave and I'm enjoying every single second of it.

We're in Dean and I's house that we bought together in St Louis Missouri. It's absolutely beautiful.

It has five rooms and six bathrooms with a decent living room, kitchen, dining room and TV room. There's also a massive pool in the backyard and a grilling area.

Dean and I invited Roman, Seth and Randy for a barbeque and while the men are outside, I'm busy inside with the salads.

My life feels perfect right now. I'm engaged with the perfect man and we have a baby on the way. We decided to keep the sex of the child a secret, so for the nursery, we painted the walls a light yellow and added a white crib and other necessary furniture all in white and light yellow.

"Kat, where's the barbeque sauce?" Dean, who came in, asks.

"Didn't I tell you to go and buy it along with the ice cream?" I ask him with a raised eyebrow.

"Oh shit. I totally forgot. I'll just run to the store to get it." He says and grabs his wallet and car keys.

"I'm coming with, because if I'm going to hear the word FIFA again, I'm puking." Roman says with a irritated expression. "Seth and Randy keeps arguing over who's the best fucking soccer team."

"Hey, no cursing! Once the baby is here we cannot use vile language." I say and point to the glass jar with $10 bills in.

"Yeah, half of that money is mine." Dean sighs while Roman chucked a $10 bill in.

They walk out complaining about the no curse rule and I just roll my eyes.

I swear that they are 10 year olds sometimes.

After I finished with the salads, I made myself a fruit shake and went out he sliding doors only to see Randy and Seth still bickering.

"Real Madrid is way better than Manchester United!" Seth exclaims angrily while passing Randy the fork.

"No, they suck and I'm pretty sure that they lost against them last year." Randy comments while turning the steak around.

"You guys really sound like a married couple bickering." I say and lay down on the patio chair.

"Kat, please tell him-" Seth starts, but Randy cuts him off.

"She never gets in a way of a fight. Believe me, I tried when I was 10 and it didn't work." Randy says and Seth goes on, but I tune them out.

I close my eyes and take a sip of the fruit shake. I wonder when I'm going to return to the ring again. Maybe one or two months after birth?  I think I'll ask another diva who's given birth. Because I don't want to go back too early or too late that no one will remember me.

Randy and Seth is glaring at each other and just when I'm about to intervene, I get a pain in my stomach.

I sit up and do the breathing exercises, but it's not working. The pain shoots across my abdomen and it feels like a knife stabbing me repeatedly.

"Randy!" I call out and clutch my stomach.

In an instant Randy and Seth is by my side. "Kat what's wrong?" Randy asks frantically and holds my hand.

"I don't know... Some-....Something's wrong." I stutter and scream out in pain.

"Seth, turn off the griller and call Dean." Randy says, but Seth's frozen. "Now!" He screams and Seth snaps out of his trance.

"On it." Seth says and runs off.

"Kat, can you stand up?" Randy asks and puts his hand on mine.

"No... It.. It's too." I scream out again and hold my stomach.

"Not Dean or Roman is picking up." Seth says frantically.

"But we can't wait. Start the car, we have to take her to the hospital. Now." Randy says and Seth runs to the garage and grabs Randy's car keys.

"Okay, Kat, I'm going to pick you up. " Randy says and place his arm around my back and the other under my legs.

He lifts me up carefully and carries me to the car. When we reach the car, Seth's already in the driver's seat and Randy gets in the back with me on his lap.

"Go!" He yells to Seth and he drives to the hospital.

When we reach the hospital, Randy gets out and carries me to the front. "She's 10 weeks pregnant, but something's wrong." He yells and place me on the stretcher.

I try to focus on what's happening, but then everything goes black.

"Doctor, we're losing her...."
****

Dean's POV.

"But you have to admit that you guys did move at a alarming speed." Roman says as we walk into my house.

"Maybe so, but I know I love her and our unborn child. So why wait? And it's rich coming from you since you had a child before marriage" I say and put the sauce and ice cream on the table.

"Where's everyone?" Roman shouts from outside. When he comes in, he looks at me confused. "The griller is off and Randy's car is gone."

I take my phone which is laying on the counter and unlock it. There's 20 texts from Seth and 1 voice mail.

I open the message and  put it on speaker.

"Dean, we're at the hospital. Something happened with Kat, but the doctors took her in for surgery. Please come here ASAP." Seth said.

I drop the phone and Roman grabs his car keys. "Let's go!''

Please let her be okay.
****

I run into the hospital's front entrance and then to the receptionist's desk with Roman running behind me. "My wife, Katherine Royce is admitted earlier" I rush out in one breath.

"Just a moment." She says and type something on the computer. "Room 304. But Sir!" She says, but we're already running to room 304.

"She will be okay." Roman replies and squeeze my shoulder when we get into the elevator.

I just nod my head at her and when the doors open, we rush down the passage way.  When we reach the room, Randy and Seth is sitting on the floor next to the door.

When they see us, they get up.

"What happened?" Roman asks them.

"I don't know. She just got a terrible pain in her stomach and then we took her to the hospital. I felt so helpless." Randy says and the tears fall down his eyes.

I crush him in a hug and then I also cry.

"It'll be okay. She'll be alright." Seth says and hugs us. Roman join in the hug and then we chuckle.

"We probably look like a couple of girls." I say with a laugh and we all pull back and laugh while wiping the tears away.

"Mr Ambrose?" The doctor who just came out of Kat's room asks.

"Yes?" I say and everyone comes near.

"You might want to sit down." She says sadly.

I just shake my head and gesture for her to continue.

"Katherine had a complicated pregnancy. Her baby wasn't entirely positioned correctly, because of her wrestling while she was pregnant. Unfortunately the baby, didn't make it." The doctor concludes sadly.

I bite back my tears and look at her. "Is Kat okay?"

"She will have some pain for a few days, but nothing serious. Her emotional well-being will obviously be unstable."

"Can I see her?' I ask.

"She's probably still asleep. But you can wait until she wakes up." Doctor says and walks off. "I'm sorry for your loss."

The guys hug me again and I let the tears fall.

At least I still have Kat.
