Chapter 28: Found.

Dean's POV.

"This waiting is fucking killing me." Sasha says frustrated and throws the magazine she's reading on the table.

"Sasha, you have to stay calm." Seth says and puts an arm around her.

"It is just difficult." She says close to tears and walks out to the balcony.

Seth sighs and goes after her, leaving Roman and I inside.

"You still have that honeymoon planned?" Roman asks while he is lounging on the couch.

"Yeah, it is all set in Hawaii. It is for two weeks and we were supposed to go in a week. I already cleared it with Stephanie." I say with a sigh.

"Dude, you will still go. I have know we will find Kat." He says and smiles at me while opening another beer.

"We have to, or else I don't know how I will move on." I say and stand up.

On the dining table is a picture frame with a photo of Kat and I on our wedding day.

She is lauging at me and I have a smile on my face while looking at her. In the background the ocean is calm and the sunset is glowing.

That was the best day of my life.

I need to get her back. She is my life. Without her, my life has absolutely no meaning.

There is a knock on the door and I immediately rush over to get it.

"Hey, Dean." Nikki says with a sad look on her face.

"Hi, thanks for coming." I say as Nikki and Brie both hug me and Randy stops at the door.

"I-" He starts, but then hugs me tight. "We have to find her."

"We will."  I say and nod at him.

"We brought food." Brie says and puts a homecooked pie and salad on the kitchen counter.

"Thanks Girls." Roman says and helps Brie get plates.

"Randy, do you have any idea of who it might be? Someone from her past maybe?" I ask him when we are both alone in the lounge.

"I have racked my brain for anyone she had problems with and none of them will go as far as to hurt her." He says in complete anguish.

"It was my job to protect her. I'm her husband, goddammit." I say and sigh.

"It is not your fault. I just wish I knew who would hate Kat so much-" Randy stops in the middle of his sentence and stands up alarmed.

"What is it?" I ask and stand next to him.

"There is one person who has hated Kat for her whole life." He says and grabs his phone.

"Who?" I ask and look at him questioningly.

"Kat's half sister, Calleigh. She always hated her with a passion. I don't know if it is her, but it is worth looking into." He says and grab his car keys.

"Where are you going now?" I ask him.

"I just texted Stephanie and told her to meet with us and the PI at Starbucks down the road. You in?" He asks, but he is already making his way to the door.

"Of course." I say and go after him. "Guys, Randy and I are following a lead." I shout and grab my leather jacket.

"Keep us informed." Sasha says and grab Seth's hand.

"We will." Randy says and then we practically run out of the door and down the stairs.

When we are in his car, I take a deep breath.
