Whitepaw looked around wildly. "Hello? Where am I? Someone, help!" No one answered him. "I'm over here!" But where was here? He struggled wildly, noting the black thickness that trapped him. His movements were slow; sluggish. He looked up, seeing a faint trickle of light. He struggled upward, trying to reach the light, no matter what. But for every tail-length he went forward, the light seemed to flee two more away from him. He expelled energy in one final desperate surge upward, before sinking down into black, inky nothingness.

Whitepaw's eyes flashed open. He stared out at the woven roof of the apprentices' den. What just happened..? he wondered in shock. He quickly got up and stumbled out of the den, dismayed to find the sun high in the sky. How long did I sleep for? "Hey! Whitepaw! About time you woke up! Sleepyhead!" He looked over to see Silverearth sitting by the entrance to camp. He yawned. "Sorry. I was having a... dream." Silverearth rolled his eyes and chuckled. "Well, I hope you're well rested, because today we're going hunting!" Whitepaw blinked. "Again? But we always go hunting! Can't we do battle training today?" The BrightClan leader shook his head. "Learn one at a time, Whitepaw. Until I think you understand hunting enough, we won't do any battle training." Whitepaw groaned. "Fine.... Let's go."

They came back, Whitepaw carrying a squirrel and Silverearth carrying two mice. They dropped it in the fresh-kill pile and Silverearth padded silently away. Whitepaw stared after him, then shrugged and he saw Mousepaw tucking into a sparrow. He grabbed a mouse and sat by him. Mousepaw glanced up. "Hey Whitepaw!" he mewed cheerfully. Whitepaw grinned. "Hello to you too, Mousepaw. How's your training going?" His brother sighed. "It's... okay, I guess." Whitepaw frowned. "Is something wrong?" Mousepaw glanced around nervously. "Well... Wildheart's been sneaking off during battle training to... Well... I followed him one time, and... He was meeting... He was meeting Acornstripe!" Whitepaw rolled his eyes. "Gosh, you had me worried there for a sec... Wildheart's fine, Mousepaw!" His sibling sighed. "I know... It's just that he never trains me anymore because of it!" Whitepaw shrugged. "You could join Silverearth and me if you want..." Mousepaw sighed. "No... it's okay. I'll figure something out." "Are you sure?" "Yeah, I'm fine." Just then, Wildheart padded into camp, a huge grin on his face. Acornstipe followed him, stumbling a bit for some reason.

...well then, so much for one update a week.... Sorry guys 😥 But hey, you got some juicy gossip in this chapter! That's worth it, right?? ;o3o
But it was super short... GAH sorry I had writers' block ;-;
Also.... I HAVE A POLL!! So! I'm thinking of making Lilypaw become a medicine cat. But I dunno. Should I:
A) Keep her a warrior
B) Make her start to become a medicine cat but then become a warrior (kinda like Hollyleaf)
C) Make her a medicine cat after a bit of warrior training (like Spottedleaf)
D) make her earn her warrior name and then become a warrior after (like Yellowfang)
Just saying, it might not depend on the votes. I might decide I'd like to do C even if the votes want A.
