Chapter 1

Disclaimer I don't own any of the the maze runner characters but if I could I would make them all have happy endings.

It's now or never Thomas. We must inject her now it's the only way she can survive.

And just like that everything was gone and that's the last thing I remember before blacking out.

Suddenly I'm torn awake from a deep slumber. Gasping for a breath as I panic quit franticly. All you can see is a red light just above me but everything else is pitched black. My breathing quickens and my chest gets tighter.

I spin around trying to figure out what's going on. Wait I can't even remember my name. As I realize my memory is missing I feel my chest getting tight which is making it hard to breath each second.
Whatever I'm in shakes and I stumble back to the ground. I get on my knees and start feeling around. I can't see much but I notice when I finally hit something it's metal and it has wholes on the side walls.

I keep moving around on my hands and knees and I notice how I also feel smaller boxes. Which is quit frankly weird. Before I know it a sharp object punctures through my hand.
I hiss from the sudden contact and fall back to the floor. I try taking it out of my hand but when I do it seems like each time it gets deeper.
It's only now that I notice how light headed I'm getting with losing so much blood from my hand.

Find something to wrap your hand in Faith.

That voice I've heard it before.
I start looking around trying to figure out where the strange voice is at. It's a males voice I can tell which confuses me even more.

I do as he says and try to feel around for something that can help my hand.
The machine I'm in keeps going faster and faster. I'm sucked to the ground while my breath is taken away by the sudden force from the stop. I grab my hand making sure it's ok and it has stopped bleeding thankfully for now anyway.

All of a sudden the box comes to a halt. Once again I'm thrown to the ground and land on my hand that punctured. It hurts like heck and now won't stop bleeding.

As I'm to busy focusing on my hand and the amount of blood I've lost I don't realize the light coming from above. What the I look up and see a bunch of faces I don't recognize.

"What shank we got this time Newt" shank what does that even mean I wonder. All of a sudden a boy with blond hair jumps down and gets closer.
"It's a bloody girl." He says and then he reaches his hand out for me to grab but I'm tempted not to take it as I here what the others start saying.

"What does she look like"
"I call dibs"
"Is she hot"

I here all these and more but what makes me take his hand is his kind words "it's alright love they won't get you." So I decide to take his hand and we manage to get out of this box.

As we climb out of the box I take a note of my surroundings. I notice a lot of trees and space. But what catches my attention the most are the walls that seem the keep anyone from leaving. As I stand up I noticed the crowed of boys that surround me I take in each of their appearances. Some are short others are tall but I noticed their aren't any other girls. I start panicking I didn't even realize the guy with the blond hair trying to talk to me. Before I can stop myself I take off running, I have no clue where I'm even going. But before I can stop myself I fall over some kind of stump in the ground.

I here footsteps approach and next thing I here "woah there greenie you Almost took your foot out if you would've landed worse"

I looked up at him and noticed his dark skin. He was different from the blonde hair guy. He sticks his hand out to help me up which this time I decide to accept.
I say a quick thanks and he smiles at me. "No problem greenie first days are always scary, I'm Alby." He introduces himself and sticks out his hand for me to shake which I do.

He starts explaining me what this place is and that's it's our home till who knows when. He then ask me what my name is as well as informing me that everyone has no memory when they come up so it may take time for me to remember.

Suddenly I remember the voice in the box. He said my name I I think it was Faith.
"My name is Faith." I speak up and tell him once it came to me.

"Welcome to the glades Faith."

Hey guys welcome to my first maze runner book! I'm so excited to start this journey of writing I've been a huge fan of this series of books and movies. I've been wanting to write a book for a while now and finally decided to put some work into it. I don't have the best crammed work so if you notice any errors in grammar or punctuation please let me know and I'll do my best to fix it. You all are in for a while ride and hope you enjoy my book as I write my mind.
