"MAAA!"
I scramble threw the mess that is my room looking for stupidly large history book Mr.Jones made me take for no reason.
"What mija?" my mom yells back from the other side of the house
"Do you know where my history book is ?".
I don't know why i asked she probably through it away, my mom are very religious, and i mean very. She feel like what the school teaches us goes against the bible and basically all the bull crap churches tell you. As you can guess ive never really been a religious person, and my mother hated that. i mean i believe in karma but not much else. There was a small pause " you through it away again didnt you?" i had to watch my tone cause it was leaning to annoyed.
" Lets go Lisa your going to be late!" she yelled back just dodging the question completely.
I lived in Washington D.C you know the U.S capital so it take us half an hour to get from my house to my high school that was two miles away, so there was alot of awkward silence in the car.
But today traffic was extra heavy which meant an extra hour in the car with my loving mother. Don't get me wrong I love my mother, I just don't want to be stuck listening to the cristian radio with her for almost two hours. If I haven't made this totally clear, my moms a cristian nut. And not just like the ones who go to church every sunday, pray before they eat, and tell their kids not to lie because God will punish them. Ha no.My mother was so religious she practically challenged the pastor ever Sunday and Wednesday. She didn't even want me to go to public school because she didn't want me to be influence by the devil, because apparently public schools are the perfect place for people to get possessed by the devil. Luckily i have a normal parent (devorced from my mom) who convinced her that public school will show me normal social skills. But my mom is very religious and cuts off anyone or anything that doesn't agree with her religious stands, which is why I don't tell her im an atheist...
